The only thing that slightly bothers me in all this is:
1. Mafia picks a townie with few clues and calls him "safe goat"
2. Mafia draw out a convincing plan containing at least one actual mafia for credibility
3. Mafia knows that there is no way that if the Sheriff is alive they're going to contact the safe goat on the say-so of some random (and therefore possible mafia) guy
4. When the safe goat is unable to provide IDs, mafia can go "uh oh, perhaps the safe goat is mafia and killed the Sheriff!"
5. Wham bam, thankyou ma'am - townie with few clues (a tough sell for lynching) is now under suspicion.
6. OOC discussion has been focussed on "the plan" and not on continuing to look for clues on people not in the plan.
Of course, it would have been easier just to have hit me instead of doing something this convoluted - hence why it only bothers me a little. But the upside is not just taking out a "safe goat" but adding credibility to the plan.
What I'm not saying is "OMG! Vulash is mafia!!!" - there are people with far more things pointing towards them IMO, and Vulash's suggestions do look good at this point.

That's a fair point. I'd be fine making a list and having one person that we consider safe picking from the list of the top 2 or 3. I'd make the list taking everyone's suggestions but keeping in mind their suspect level.
Point 5 I think I should address - it isn't anything to do with the plan - it's just that there are more clues with the bull pen and the separated from the herd clues. I still think you're less likely mafia than most.
At work now so I can only hop on here and there - the more I thought about the tribunal the more I didn't like it as I walked in. I'll keep thinking and come up with a part 2.
Can someone comb KaAnna's bio very carefully? She is another I've hardly suspected at all

Posting from phone, more detail later.
No Sheriff, no Plan 1. There's no way I'm lynching someone on 1 person's say-so. Tribunal... Maybe.
Only reason you're uneasy about killing off women is same reason you'd be uneasy killing all the children. You're programmed to protect the future of the species.
More on the Tribunal idea later.

The only hard thing about the tribunal is the bigger the tribunal the more likely a mafia is on it. I think it would work best with 3 people of low suspect (and not including me now that I think about it). I'd want to make the list they choose from so if mafia are on it they can't pull from all their resources. I think likely at worst it would be 2 townies and 1 mafia with me (not mafia) making the list to choose from. It could work. Is it better then us just scrambling and arguing our points is the question.
Off the top of my head I would say Binky, Pharren, and KaAnna - but I'd want to comb bios later very very carefully before saying for sure.
Either way I think we should kill Boris since this will take time to debate and setup, and I don't want them to get us in the pinch in the mean time.

Regarding point 5, yeah obv after that last hit there's a few more animal references - but at the time the plan was devised, that those clues would pop up couldn't have been known. So consider my post in terms of just before the last hit rather than after.
But regardless, I am happy to relinquish my safe goatiness in lieu of that last hit if there's someone else (you, Pharren?) that we can agree on..?
Or alternatively, accept that the Sheriff is either dead or unwilling to trust anyone, in which case the safe goat is a bit moot ;)

I was thinking on that joker comment, and how he said it to a person who brought back a memory... Kal wasn't the only military trained person. Kris is too. special ops for one, army ranger for the other.

Okay, just out of curiosity, am I the only one suspicious of Victor? Edit: He has a military connection as well, Kil.
I'm not making the joker - military connection. I think that the joker comment refers to facial scars which point to Boris. They even put a smile on the victim's face.
I'm not concerned about the fact that we're only lynching women because of some biological imperative, but I am a little concerned that the safe goat tribunal is a total sausage fest unless someone deems KaAnna worthy of membership. Of course, this is all based on the theory that there are more men than women in the mafia, which might not be correct.

his face sliced from one ear to the other.

For KaAnna, all I could find was this:
This last kill talked about a waste of a man. I think there have been other comments in that vein, but this really is a stretch to begin with. I think she's either clean or hasn't been clued yet.
Her mother did the best she could with raising Jayden, but the woman was a shell.

Just a couple of comments:
The concern of lynching women was being brought up before the tribunal was even a thought.
ShutUpSara also has scars on her face I think. I still think Boris is the correct lynch tonight, but just want to keep that in people's minds.

Shutupsara's bio
Scars on both wrists by the thumb that are very noticeable. Scars on throat that are barely noticeable until you are extremely close.

Thanks I didn't think I had seen much on her, but couldn't remember if there was a shell reference or not.
KaAnna are you still watching?

My biological imperative thing was only to explain why people are nervous about only lynching women, not to explain WHY we are doing it. If we had lynched only men, nobody would have even noticed, because men are expendable.

Thanks, I thought there was another military pesron out there, but had forgotten who! :)
And yes, if it had been all men, I would have noticed, or my husband would have :P because all of one seems a bit off. But, I don't think that has much to do with anything. I pointed it out because it was pointed out to me, and since this is my first time playing something like this, I posted it lol
And yes, the joker reference is probably scar related, I don't think that was what I was trying to point out, but probably messed it up. I meant more along the lines about the memory part of the hit.

Well since the scar reference almost definitely points at one of the two, and since we have other pretty heavy clues that point at Boris we should continue with that. If we get a death scene that makes it look like we fucked up (which I doubt) then we should consider sara on the list - especially after the weird stuff with the sheriff claims.

Yes, I think the scars point to Boris and then Ella second...but no one has bothered to bring up the title of the hit...THE TASTE OF SIN!! That has Boris' handiwork all over it...especially the fact that it was capitalist dollars shoved down his throat and mouth.

Yes, I realy liked the title, also. I wasn't going after a Boris connection there, but that definitely does fit. Good call!
