Hermes peered down at the strange creature and decided to withhold judgment, instead going a more diplomatic route. "Ah...ha. What do you call this new creature?"

"Isn't it obvious? It's a cross between a kitten and an octopus - a kictopus!"

Hera gave a derisive snort. "It won't be a kitten forever. Soon you'll have to call it a catopus, and that sounds stupid."

From the back, a throaty voice that could only belong to Aphrodite added her contribution to the discussion. "It's obviously an octopussy. I like it."

Poseidon waved his mighty trident to silence the chatter. "The name is not important!"

"What does it do?" Hephaestus asked, his wife's joke and follow up snickers going completely over his head. Zeus took pity on him eventually.

"He means to impress Demeter, who challenged my slow-witted brother to make her a creature that wasn't a monster."

Hades chuckled. "Lol fail."

Everyone turned to regard the God of the Underworld, who had been acting strangely as of late. With a communal shrug, they soon brought their attention back to the kictopussy cat.

"It's very..."

"...well..."

"...leggy..."

Poseidon gave an annoyed grunt. "Chicks dig kittens. She's going to love it."
