If the kid had been a boy, we would have called him Thaddeus James.

Most of my family was pretty happy the kid turned out to be a girl...they didn't like Thaddeus :(.

If I understand my mother correctly, had I been a boy I would have been James Clyde. (my father's middle name and my grandfather's middle name) Instead they named me for a house..I guess its better than a tree.. *giggles at Rae* Just kidding, we like the tree, sometimes we like Rae too. :winky

I was told my name would have been Michael Alan. But since I turned out a girl they named me after my great grandmothers. Well, atleast I wasn't named after Cher. :twisted:

My mother still claims, to this day, that she would've left me at the hospital had i been a boy.

Seriously, no wonder i have issues.

If we had another girl, I'd want to name her something traditional like Catherine. Elizabeth or Isabella...something queen-ish.

You know, I was wondering if my mom got this much attention, so many congratualtions and such, when she found out I was being born...then I remember she told me she wasn't pregnant with me...a big ugly fat crow flew into her yard one day, took a poo, and there I was.
