The Village was disappointing. Poor Knight (whatever his name is) just can't top the 6th Sense. I watched it last night...eh it was alright.

Same thing with Van Hesling. I hate movies that refuse to use the actual language and just adopt the language's ACCENT. SO DUMB. He looked hot at the ending so that was cool.

The Village was a let down, I hate movies I can figure out too easy.. and Minority Report was good! First Knight wasn't THAT bad.. ( X is real picky about his Arthurian tales can ya tell.. ) And Van Helsing was pretty good IMO, it may have been cheesy but I always like when people can come up with a new spin for the classic legends.

I don't mind camp, and I think Van Helsing was intended as camp, so I thought it was fun :)

I thought Minority Report was ok, but Tom Cruise makes my teeth itch so I typically avoid his films. I watched that because a bf wanted to see it. I usually won't watch his flicks.

I thought The Village was pure crap. I don't expect a director to have to "top" himself, but he does need to make good movies. That one was not a good movie.

Can anyone say Dungeons & Dragons? Jeremy Irons needs to stick to voice acting, and Marlon Wayans would have done better to stay on In Living Color. I mean, I realize nearly every fantasy-genre game / book / movie out there is all about the same - solve the riddles, go thru the mazes, grab the treasures, save the day, but EGADS! At least the Final Fantasy movie did a better job of following the stereotype. How in the world could Gary Gygax (who actually STARRED in the movie, in some eensy bit part) put his name on that garbage, let alone let it go public?

Of course, most of the people who didn't like it expected it to be an action flick. And... it had the rematch between Jet Li and Donnie Yen, something I was looking forward to since Once Upon a Time in China II

OMFG its HOWARD THE DUCK not Harold!! I loved that movie since i was a lil tyke.. Worst Movie ever tho.. toss up between Blair Witch 2 and Return of the Jedi after Lucas has fucked it up for the 50th damn time by replacing Sebastian Shaw who played Darth Vader with the fagly Hayden Christiansen from the new movies. Movies get the term Cult Classic for a reason, its not a reason to churn them into shit.

i LOVED the village and i get ridiculed for it >_< I never firgured it out until you were supossed to and it was great. Event ho the monsters werent real i was still freaked out for a few days after lol.

but worst movie for me....hmmm Ghost Dawg is definatly one of them. Its some black people street gang thugs rapper crap with absolutely no content.

I liked Hero alot, i love vanillia sky( the song at the very end when he jumps off is by this amazing group i adore Sigur Ros, they make up their own lyrics that arent actually a language. The cd ( ) <--thats the title is the most powerful feeling evoking cd ive ever heard. lol it can make me cry every single time for the past year!

why i liked the villiage so much: Once you know whats going on and you sit and think about it, its great. Ok so theres a bunch of people who've been emotionally scarred in someway by death of a loved one. They are all in a 'society for sad people' so to say and begin talking:

Old man weiner -lets run away and restart. Lets hide ourselves from the outside world and control our enviroment.

Random group memeber -hmm sounds good but what about our kids? how do we stop them from interacting with the real world, they are gonna want to explore you know.

So old man weiner replies - get this, my dad is fat paid and owns resverations n shit. He's dying and hes leaving it all to me. We can go live out there and they wont get the oppertunity to run into to others.

Skeptical member 1 - i dont know about that. People will fly over us and the kids will see airplanes and we're going to need power and running water and what about tv surely they will see it all then?

Old man Wiener - Hmm, let me think. I can suck a little dick and pay the government to issue the wild life reserve a no fly zone. That should take care of that problem. Money talks and you can buy just about anything if youve got enough, and believe me i'm gonna be fat paid. Now about modern conviences, lets just not have em. I'm a history teacher/historian so i can instruct everyone on what it was like back then and then build us a colony. We'll live like fricken amish people!

Brigham is Scarecrow # 1. Rannen's girlfriend at the time is the lead characters girlfriend. Everyone else in the movie except 2 people were all good friends of ours in college (me valeon brigham ect).
