This is because weddings suck. The quote "Its the happiest day of your life" is WRONG. Thats right up there with Santa Clause and the Easter Bunny exist. A wedding is really the way your relatives dupe you into planning a big party for them, at your own stress and hassle. In the end, the bride and groom go to sleep early, and the next day they wake up. Everything is the way it was, but less stressful. Its like a rite of passage, more then a pleasant experience.

And that is why my fiance and I got a wedding planner, and said " Tell us what to wear, when to show up, and where this place is. Here are some folks names/addresses invite them. Serve good food and beer. Here's the deposit". Then we went about our lives. Apparently we get married in September.

I meant more we fought before we got married and less afterwards.
But yeah...weddings can be the suck. Though the wearing of the puffy dress is good times.

Hehe, good guess. Last I spoke to Krassus he was doing a bouncer thing at his brother's club and enjoying it. He doesn't come around here too often.

Ok this is for Roz since she is all up in my grille :flowers

Everything was going along fine, or so I had thought, and she broke out with the "I need a couple of days to myself" thing. I was like ok, that's fine. Never had a problem with that in my life, so why start now?

Well, a couple of days suddenly turned into a couple of weeks. Everything in my life suddenly went into limbo. She wouldn't respond to my phone calls (on the cell phone that I was paying for none-the-less) and was being shady about everything.

Finally she said she didn't know what she wanted. I was like, "well why didn't you decide that before I spent 2,600 dollars on a fucking engagement ring for you to not know what the fuck you want."

So after a really messy break-up and two solid weeks of shelling myself into my house and not going out, I finally said fuck it and started going out again.

A month and change later, life couldn't be greater. I found out two days after me and her broke up, she was dating her ex. Which was ironic, because when we broke up, she requested that if I wanted to date someone else that she thought it would be good if I talked to her about it first (wtf?).

I've been going out lately and having a great time. I even started hanging out with an ex of my own (it's nice to have a buddy =P every once in awhile, especially in a time of need, lol) and I am thinking about moving to Tampa soon.

Good to hear buddy. I went through an engagement scare in my mid 20's as well except I was the one that decided to move on and that I wasnt ready. After a couple of months of feeling like a jerkoff for hurting my 4 year girlfriend I realized I had made the right decision and had we gotten married it would have been miserable. Granted I married a real freak soon there after but I was able to let the girl go and a year later she found a guy that worshiped her and they are happily married now.

It was the right decision for both of us. If you ever have any doubts about a person being the right one to marry then you should probably not be contemplating it. It's hard enough when your head over heels in love to make it work much less if either party has any doubts.

Enjoy it while your young. Time flies. I blinked and Im turning 35 in 3 weeks.

Lesson #1, young padwan. The translation is "I'm banging my ex, so hopefully he'll jump on this line and tell me he wants to date someone else too, so I can tell myself there is no reason to feel guilty about what I'm doing". Classic. Losing her was the best thing that could have happened to you.
