Favorite movie...EVER!

Aliens - Theatrical release (best sequel EVER) The directions cut was stupid and James Cameron had it right with the original release. 17 minutes of crap, I tell you.

The Usual Suspects - I did not see that coming. Youre lying if you did! Who is Keyzer Soze?

Clue - Based on the mystery game. Who killed Mr. Boddy?

Event Horizon - I have no idea why I love scary movies. I totally watch them thru my fingers.

The Ring - I can't even let this run in the background while i'm on the computer. I get the heebie jeebies every time I watch it and I've only sat down to watch it fully twice. Its the bits and pieces that you catch on hbo that scare the hell out of me!

Stir of Echos - Saw it fully twice. That's it. LOVE IT, but can't watch it again.

Newer movies have been ok...Resident Evil, Aliens 4 but I tend to watch the old ones over and over again. =)

Rocky I - V:

My favorite movies of all time. Something about it I just love watching them over, good inspiration for me. How he took his one chance to make something of himself, how he fought all the way to the top and never gave up.

The Game of Death:

Greatest Martial Arts film of all time, imo. Written, directed, and starring Bruce Lee. Wasn't all the way completed, but a great story line, great fight scenes, etc.

The Lord of the Rings Trilogy - Awesome!

The Lion In Winter - Not the one with Patrick Stewart, the one with Peter O'toole and Kate Hepburn. The dialogue in this movie is incredible. Kate is probably my favorite actress of all time.

Sleepless in Seattle - Yes it's a chick flick, and yes I love it. I think this one gets better every time I watch it.

Planes, Trains & Automobiles - It's hard to go wrong with Steve Martin and John Candy. I really think that I've lauged harder at this movie than any other one that I've seen, and you can see exactly what she is all about in the first 30 seconds of the film.

Gone With the Wind - Ok... I know, another chick flick. If you haven't seen this yet, do yourself a favor and watch it. It's rediculously long, but it is never, ever dull. Scarlett is the most frustrating female that I've ever seen.

The Matrix Triolgy - I've watched this way too many times!

The Silence of the Lambs - Not the scariest of movies, but the characters are so excellent. Hannibal is my favorite bad guy. You also need to read "The Red Dragon" by Thomas Harris, which was made into an OK movie. The book actually takes place before the events in the Silence of the Lambs.

Baseketball - Great movie for a cheap laugh. Shows that if every other insult fails, you can simply call them a "cock".

LOTR Trilogy It is the Star Wars of my time, and Liv Tlyer is my Princess Leia.

Happy Gilmore Probably Sandler's best movie imo, and still has me rolling on the floor every time I hear Bob Barker say "bitch".

Contact - I loved the book, and while the movie has some significant deviations, I love it for its own sake.

The Princess Bride - "Hello. My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die." Really, this movie is in a class by itself .

I really love too many movies to list, but those two are in their own class of goodness. I watch one of those two when I'm sick, or just want to relax. They are well worn teddy bears .

Boondock Saints - This one I love to watch with friends. It's a great one to show when I have new people over because it's likely they haven't seen it .

That's right, you're an actor of sorts, right mizen? Lucky duck.

Matrix Trilogy - I should shoot you now. The first was the best, the rest was HORRIBLE!

Not an actor, but I have been an extra in a few of Kevin's movies.

Let me dig up pics I have with Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, Jason Mewes, and Jason Lee.

Those were some good times.

Oh yeah, I met Liv Tyler also =P

Mae speaks the truth here. The Matrix is probably in my top 5 movies, however the 2nd and 3rd, were real disappointments. There were some nice effects in them but the overall story went to shit IMO.

Saving Private Ryan
Shawhank Redemption
The Matrix
LoTR Trilogy
Star wars 4,5, and 6
Pirates of Carribean
Pearl Harbor
Top Gun - Hey don't laugh
Scarface
Godfather....all of em
The Untouchables
Meet the Parents
Father of the Bride
The Harry Potter movies
The Goonies
Shrek
Finding Nemo (with a wee one in the house, you cant help sometimes but to like their movies)

I'll continue my list in a bit.

Life Is Beautiful, best foriegn film ever made. I cry inside everytime I watch it just for being such a beautiful movie.

5th Element, best role Milla Jovovich has ever done and will ever do. I have probably watched this movie over a thousand times and will proceed to watch it another thousand.

Boondock Saints, something about 2 Irish brothers acting as Angels of Death just makes for an interesting plot. This movie also furthered my belief that Willem Defoe is the most versitale actor.

Princess Bride, one of the best guy movies ever. Girls expect some gushy romantic love story but all they get is a great story littered with comedy. As Verileah said this movie is in a class all on its own.

El Mariachi, the prequel to Desperado and Once Upon a Time in Mexico. This movie was filmed with something like $3000 and there were absolutely no retakes. The camera work is superb and the story is told wonderfully. The movie was so well done the Director was tossed a bunch of money to continue the story with the movie Desperado (which was shit in comparison). If you like this series but have failed to see this movie you should buy it today! (It is in Spanish and subtitled having been filmed in Mexico and all)
