So, Alex is dead, right? The Mafia killed him?

The thing is, I doubt verileah and mai would do something as obvious and powerful as singling out the sk for not voting. This has not been done before (has the sk ever missed a vote inprevious games? I think so) and doesn't seem right. If you read the voting seen. Pretty much everyone booked after the guy was killed, so him not caring might be just that....

mused absently that the ceiling could use a bit of dusting as there were quite a few cobwebs up there.

Wasn't that actually David Trelawney?

IM LOOKING FOR THEMES HERE, one thing to remember is verileah and mai always go for themes. There is other kinds of evidence, but this is one way to discover clues.

"The student walked down the path out in front of the courtyard and past some commotion involving a snowball fight without even paying it the slightest attention."

To me this sounds like the SK didn't vote last night, and therefore was not involved in the lynch. I think this is perhaps our biggest clue.

Wow, Tim. You are reaching LOL. I've never known someone NOT voting to affect future kill storylines. This seems too farfetched and yes, I voted =D

Second - you have a tendancy towards clumsiness - and the SK fell down after watching the horse rear back. Someone very athletic probably would have moved while it was going down.

I dont think the horse points towards a clumsy student, it immediately made me think of Estrala, who wants to be able to turn into a horse but can't.

Equala...large and strong...I thought of her too...in addition :)

The SK is indeed possessed and all male pronouns can be considered from that per the intro to the death scene.

If this is the case, then does the SK's abilities reflect Voldie's spell mastery, or that of the possessed student?

If the former is the case, it will be difficult to ID the SK using favorite subject, etc..

I used this tactic quite effectively in the last game. I submitted a mafia kill but did not vote on the lynch to try and cover my tracks. It would not be unheard of to do. I even voted to kill myself...

its not Equala (SCROLL UP AND READ WHY)

well, I didn't vote because it's my first game and I didn't know better. Pure ignorance here, no strategy involved.
duexe 20 years ago
hmm... actually, I was thinking that the missed SK vote was possible due to novice playing as SK...

Not that I'm implicating you. Play styles, what is posted by players (a lesson taught to me by RAE), can give clues to identities as well as the storyline...

NO!

Not voting holds up the game, it isn't a strategy. =/

I did scroll up...what are you referring to?

I think he's talking about Angelina being the SK and the clues applying to her.

Equala doesn't fit into my hunch theor, not that I'd miss her if she was gone though. If you had stronger evidence I'd be all over it

Am I supposed to care if you agree with my thoughts? (and I don't mean that belligerently - I'm still trying to get a grasp of things.)

not that I'd miss her if she was gone though
Huh?

There is a buttload of clues on me all through the scene if you want to take horsiness as a hint, starting with the thread title. I'm totally sure the mods said "Hey, let's totally murder the SK after the first real round." Not. But if that's the way the clues swing, I'll vote for my own self.

I'm trying to back you up friend!

Um, okay...

That's not backing her up. That's just promising to wait on stabbing her in the back until it suits you better.

Just got home from work, holy cowz0r. :P Will keep lugging at the reading, but I almost never take the 'really really obvious' road. It's just... too damn obvious!

Still reading hits and stuff...
