Based on last night and today, this is who I believe to be mafia. Starting with my original suspicion.
Elise Meyr
From her bio:

From round 1:

well I don’t think Lucius Malfoy would much fancy being turned into a toad…â€Â
BR was quick to offer up that the first clue also mentioned other animals and owls in particular. She was also quick to offer up Simon because he has a pet owl. Now in doing so, she failed to mention the other people who have O.W.L. in their bios. Could it be that she did not want to draw attention to this fact because another mafia member has it in their bio. whether it is in all caps or not, it still spells owl. BR is smart, she would not have missed this. Today, she offered up Vudu for having toads in his bio. She says that his bio specifically says turning into a toad. Well technically, so does hers. It specifially says
turning toadstools into toads.
From her bio:

From round 2:
which one of their number was levitating in the center of the room
Levitation is a charm. Where many other characters can do this, Elise adores charms. She also has a talent in transfiguration.

Also, in round two, Alex was [beat] in the head with a trophy. Im addition to the clues stated, BR said something in this thread that was quite interesting. in pointing at another player, she used a malfoy reference as the reason. This is most likely deflection because of the following quote from the scenario.
and when Lucius Malfoy heard of their little organization, they were, in many ways, damned.
If they are recieving instructions from Malfoy then they would more than likely have access to the owl that dropped it off. It was made clear in the last hit as well that they were recieving instruction from Lucius because they were reading a letter from him. So, having prior connections would not necessarily mean anything but would work well as a deflection from the real mafia.

Yesterday I spoke with three people about my suspicion of BR. Simon, Illiard, and Thaddeus. Shortly there after, my name was dropped as possible mafia. If I am not mafia then that means that one of those three are. From today's hit we have the following quote.

From Thaddeus's bio we have:
described his musical ability as gifted

From round 2:

From Thaddeus's Bio:
His friendly manner (and the ability to woo the girls with his music) made him a likable fellow of influence.
He often wondered why the sorting hat placed him in house Slytherin.
This would certainly make him a candidate for the nice member of the mafia. In addition to what was mentioned above. The following quotes are by duexe/Thaddeus from round 2 ooc.
Mafia will protect the SK and try to kill him only if he/she kills a mafia member.
1 - Only 3 characters have silver mentioned in their bio's - Namilah Narayan, Alison MacAlister, Rorri Rosethorne
It is interesting that he left someone of that list who also has silver in their bio. Briare has silver, metalic eyes. It is possible that this was an over-sight. It is also possible that, based on what was said about mafia protecting the SK, that the name was left off to keep from drawing attention to who they either know or believe to be the SK. Pointing fingers at Alison had it worked would have drawn attention away from the mafia, and had she been lynched it would have gotten an innocent. When that didn't work, having the mafia hit her makes it look like they are hunting the SK even if they are not. Very suspicious.
Thaddeus Hendershot is Mafia
Of course then brings me to Vulash/Dexter Greenman. He started pushing that I am mafia shortly after I sent PMs to Duexe/Thaddeus. One interesting point to mention is that it took a long time for Duexe to respond to my PMs. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and assumed that he did not notice he had a message. Lol, I deserve the dufus award for that one. However, it appears now that the delay was him possibly conversing with other mafia about the fact that I had pegged one of their own. It is then that Vulash starts pointing at me.
The problem with finding clues on Vulash is his almost non-existent bio. But there are a few things that suggest he might be.
From round 2:
The group member seemed pleased by this response, and crouched down to eye level with the still sitting Alex. “Now let’s get you cleaned up and on your way. You’re a mess!â€Â
From Dexter's bio:
he devotes far more of his time to fitting in
which probably explains his extreme social abilities
Contents of your school satchel or backpack: Body Spray, Breath Mints, Toothbrush, comb, floss
His social skills makes him a possible candidate for the nice mafia. But there is also the references to mess, in particular looking a mess. A person who keeps body spray, breath mints, toothbrush, comb, and floss in their satchel is definately concerned about appearance. Also, there were the blue references. Dexter is both Ravenclaw and has blue eyes. Though not iron clad it is suspicious. Add his behavior and the convenient timing of when he started pointing at me, it is very suspicous. He is either mafia or has been duped by talking to the wrong person.

From Ufajamaya (geez couldn't you pick something easier to spell) Tonk's bio:

Tonks also has transfiguration as a favorite subject. She is also a metamorpth. Her mother was an auror which means she might have picke up a trick or two for nicking things in addition to changing forms.

Another person to watch is Yseult Quinn. Where others either list potions as a favorite or have a book. Yseult has a Potion-Porree magazine. basically now the mafia would have to hit Rorri or Briare to make it look like the mafia is searching for the SK or they would have to hit me to shut me up. Any of the above would prove me right.
