Sky Captain and the world of tomorrow

I seen this movie a week or two ago, was a lot better than I expected. Though it wasn't great, it was decent. Wouldn't go see it again, would maybe rent if on DVD.

PS. Angelina Jolie is hot. :o

I thought this looked more like something that would appeal to the ladies actually. Was surprised so many "guy's guys" seemed to like it.

I saw it a couple of weeks ago as well. Stylistically, it was incredible. Storyline was a bit thin, but that's in keeping with the whole 30s serial motif. As an hommage, it was awesome. But for me, that kept it in the "good movie" and out of "great movie" status.

In our household, whenever Angelina Jolie's name is mentioned, it is inevitably followed by

"mmm...dirty."

This is a result of a scandalous converstation between my darling husband and Pharren the Angry, in which Fozz was trying to determine how good something using the well known celebrity sandwich scale.

I've probably said too much.

The sad thing is, this conversation had to have taken place a year ago, maybe more :X. I showed Fozz this thread and we just looked at each other and cracked up, waiting to see who would say it first.

awesome movie...saw it twice in one week. ya gotta have a good imagination.
