White Noise

Michael Keaton stars. Holy...cow. I saw a small bit of it on the Today show this morning and...omg it freaked me out so badly my eyes teared up.

The 'White Noise' of the title refers to a phenomenon known as EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomena). Listen carefully, believers will tell you, and in amidst the white noise of a detuned radio you might hear voices...and in amidst the white noise of a detuned television, you might see faces. These, they'll tell you, are the voices and faces of the dead.

Obviously he has lost his wife. Someone shows him the EVP and he not only hears her in the white noise of his tv, he SEES HER. Not only does he see her, she's SUFFERING.

He starts to cry, he's so happy to see her, she's standing there all ethereal mixed in with the snow. He leans forward to press his head against the tv screen when suddenly she presses up against the tv screen SCREAMING. Fighting to get out...or away.

Did I mention she had been murdered? THE PLOT THICKENS!

I have absolutly no desire to see this, but then I don't like horror or thriller flicks, especially psycological thrillers.

Yeah, enough with the tv's already. After that damn girl in The Ring crawled out of that dude's set I wouldn't go near mine for a month.

I dont think I can.

Like Zombie movies, I love em, but they give me nightmares for a long time.

So I think Ill save the hubbie some freaky nights and just not see this one, too bad too, looks good~ =)

This looks like it will be a good'un. My GF and I want to see this movie. I like the creepy stuff though.

If freaked me out to the point of almost crying. I WANT TO SEE THIS and the Grudge...but omg I dont think I can LOL.

The whole time I was sitting there going 'cheesy' or 'yeah right, Buffys gonna KILLZ YOUZ' and even tho the curse was on THAT house ... well.

Still. Nightmares. They just freak me out =(

I went to go see this tonight, and we didnt get to go, for 3 different reasons lol. I think its a sign. I dont care, I wanna go tomorrow to see it lol.

Go see it.
ITs worth it. I will also say that everyone that has ever told me what they thought was going on by the previews (I never actually saw the preview) was wrong. It was definatly worth seeing. Wasnt really freaky scary, more "Oh shit! that scared me" scary.

Was a good movie.

I know it's kinda late since this movie has been out but oh well!

Personally I thought this movie stunk and was so slow and boring as crap.
There's just so much they could've done with the movie and it just doesn't happen at all.

Nothing is explained... the plot is weak as hell and just... nuh uh... not a good movie imo.
