I'm all paranoid backing out of a parking space now =( I hate that. When I rear ended someone in 2004, I had this unbelievable phobia about doing it again so I absolutely could not be within 3 car lengths behind a car. That just started to fade and now this. =/

Awww - that sucks. Hopefully you'll get over it quicker this time. It was just an accident...they happen to us all. Thankfully no one was hurt, and neither car is irreplaceable. *hugs*

Well I'm moved in. Everything fits amazingly together which is a surprise as it's all pieced together. But darn doesn't it work. I'll have to take photos.

I went to Berlin Ohio this weekend for nicknacks.. came home with 2 cookbooks, cookie ingredients and a thing of apple butter instead. :D

Oh and I also came home with the most vicous cold I've had in a long while. Moving in rain doesn't do me very well.

So now I have my dsl (finally after a week). My new home and a crap load of unpacking and work to do. :)

I may be quiet for a while longer as I settle in.

I watched a bit of the video music awards last night. Spent the first 5 minutes yelling at the tv. Britney Spears should just hang it up. Kami said Rihanna was a hot hot hottie lol.

Didn't watch it. I never watch those shows if I can help it. Britney.. I love her music.. but she is soooo FUBAR nowdays.

There's this courier that comes in every day to pick up specimens. Every single time she's here, she goes into the employee bathroom (just outside my office door) and blows it up. She then leaves the door WIDE OPEN and sprays the living shit out of the teeny bathroom with Lysol. She uses SO MUCH that I can taste it. I fucking hate it when she's here. =/

ugh. Today some woman I didn't know came into our office and the receptionist was somewhere else. I was walking back to my office and the stranger saw me, told me she got lost, and wanted to use our restroom. I let her, and then I started semi-freaking out thinking all kinds of stupid things. I hate that...feeling like that for no reason, except because of all the freaking strange things that go on in the world today.

She left, and the bathroom was fine :P

I don't want to drive the jeep anymore =( I went back to our mazda 626 and let Mike keep the jeep. I just don't feel comfortable driving it anymore. Also I got to work this morning and guess who's parked in the SAME EXACT SPOT? Her subaru's ass was hanging out into passing traffic again, but now I park a row away from the edge, AWAY from her car and any other that is parked funky. It's an extra 5 feet to walk, I'll live with it.

Digital cameras are awesome tools.

I would have to agree with Mil. Take a pic of it and send it to the cops hahah let her get a ticket or even send it to your insurance people.

I'm so bored, I'm eating.

Our network has been problematic since lunchtime, and I'm tired of being on phone calls telling people "I can't help you at the moment" or "no, I have no control over that part of the network" or "we know, go back and sit down".

In between, I'm fiddling with Chaoscope and eating potato chips (low sodium) and pretzels.
I could -really- go for chocolate.

did you know that a roof gets hot in 90 degree weather? seems rather obvious, i know, but for some stupid reason, it just didn't occur to me. so i climb up there to measure a piece of trim that i am replacing this weekend. shouldn't take more than a minute or so - until you realize that you cannot stand still for more than 2 seconds because the soles of your feet are sizzling... it's a good thing my son wasn't around - he already knows enough interesting language for awhile....

Things I've lost because I decided to clean my room:

My checkbook
A Hallmark bag filled with birthday cards
the power brick and cord for my external USB2 backup hard drive
my DS Lite charger
a Wii controller
the USB card reader so I can get pictures off my digital camera (and its cable)

Sometimes it ain't worth it to be clean.

My job isn't particularly busy, however we do get anywhere from 10-15 orders a day. We close out anywhere from 10-20 orders a day. During our busy season, which we are now entering, we can get up to 20 cases a day. Currently we have 70 open orders, not a lot but again during our busy season I can carry 130+. I'm good with names in certain situations, but I want to :stab someone when I get this from one of my examiners.

Phone rings.
'Hey did we find anything out about that one woman?'
I lean back in my chair and rub my temples. 'Which woman?'
'The one we called who said she didn't get our messages but really did.'
Again, I'm pretty good with names but I'm not a mind reader. 'What's her name?'
'Uh...Tat...something?'
I roll my eyes.
'Spell it?'
'T...a...t?'

It is actually Tapia. I find that out after looking at the examiner's order list, something THEY COULD HAVE DONE BEFORE CALLING ME. I get this just about every god damn day. Will it kill them to fucking LOOK at their orders before calling me?

An agent just called as I was typing this and was like, '...roz? It didn't sound like you, you sound angry.'

I have this to do list since I'm moving in. You would think within reason it should be getting shorter. I just added another page to it.

Was a quiet weekend, I guess.

Played some Super Smash Bros. Melee on the Wii, in 10-15 minute blocks...
Tried the 100 man melee twice; the first time died with .66 seconds left on the clock, and the second time under 8 seconds left... Only takes ~4 minutes but it's rough on the thumb.
Found the old installer files for 18 Wheels of Steel: Across America and loaded that up, played a bit, again here and there.

Saturday, went to Golden Corral for lunch, ordered a -lot- of Chinese takeout for dinner.
Went to Old Country Buffet for breakfast, then had Chinese leftovers for dinner on Sunday.

Watched Father of the Bride and its sequel, started reading Harry Dresden book 5, Death Masks, and tore apart several boxes looking for some needed items I misplaced a few weeks ago when cleaning.

All our computer arts came from Newegg :D Erik wants to put it together himself so i am just sitting here thinking about putting it together myself since I lack an ounce of patience. Must play WoW on super high settings ><

Right now, it's not even out & is already ranked #1000 on Amazon.com .
The Cover art was done by Todd Lockwood, and features Drizzt (alot of the FR community is up in arms about that) on the front cover, and Elminster on the back.
