Thanks everyone! It was a great first day. I was assigned my classroom and I began the arduous task of setting it up. I still have another week and a half to get it finished, but I'm exhausted from today's work. =)

Finally decided it was time to clean my room today.

(I know, I know, "finally" is right, right?)

I just decided to sit down. Spent a minute trying to figure out why my fan's not blowing air on me.

I had it backwards. *sigh* I think I've hit my head four times already.

Maybe you'll find an old football or motorcycle helmet in there somewhere...before you finish...I suppose there is a reason for keeping so much of that stuff...(notice I said 'stuff' and not 'junk'...;))

somehow over 2 quarts of oil got spilled all over the back corner of our garage. what an icky stinking mess. and to add insult to injury, there's is something very wrong with the garage door opener. *grrrr*

my hands hurt.. sometimes I wonder if this is what arthritis or carpal tunnel (sp) feels like, or if it means ill have it when im older.. ive no idea..

From what my Dad says, Carpal made the bottoms of his hands, and his wrists, hurt.



I finished the second phase of cleaning my room.
Tore apart the computer, cleaned the cables. Cleaned the computer. Removed my old, dead Belkin brand UPS, and replaced it with a brand new APC unit. Vacuumed the floor under the desk and under the chair mat.
Vacuumed under the bed then the area where my trashcans sit, before moving everything that was in the walkway to the area in front of the desk so I could get at the fridge.
Cleaned off the fridge then unplugged it and defrosted it. Got about 7 pounds of ice out of it. Fixed the phone jack behind where it sits - though admittedly it didn't need repair, it just needed a broken part removed from it.
Vacuumed almost all of the remainder of my "area" on the green square but I'll be doing a lot more shuffling as I sort through stuff and clear out some of the computer crap in my closet.

well today it was an ache from my wrists up through my fingers.. but sometimes it will just be one or two fingers, or one hand and not the other.. Im not sure if the fact that i did quite a bit of drinking last night had anything to do with it.. or maybe what I did while drinking.. but cant think of what would make them ache.. and it reoccurs whether or not ive been drinking..or if its cold, or damp, or hot.. *shrugs*

It sounds like tendinitis, which is what I have. You need to see a doctor and get some meds, and an immobilizer.

So I took my daughter to school today, and she tells me how beautiful her teachers dress is and I have to look.. Shes wearing this orange knit tshirt looking dress thing with some geometric pattern on the front.. pretty awful imho.. but the patern doesnt wrap around the back.. and I notice that I am seeing through this lady's dress and shes wearing a thong.. I wanted to laugh.. or go tell her.. but I didnt do either.. ><

and yes Mileron, shes cute.
