rofl. Well on her side I dont think she realized anyone could see through the dress.. why you need to wear a thong to school.. who knows. A slip would be good though..

This week has started off on the worst absolute footing.

We get the notification that we can move in this upcoming weekend.. so we start packing and making notes of what we still have to replace. In the meantime:
1. The furniture store calls to inform us we will only get part of our furniture order this week. The rest will come next week. (After a huge hissy fit and a lot of phone calls this got remedied and now we're just going to be short one dresser for a week).
2. The contracter calls to inform us the stove that was in stock last week is now out of stock this week and they will not ship the other appliances til that stove comes in. So now he has to contact another store.
3. My daughters room is a nice bright purple. She loves it therefore I love it. Everyone else that has seen it besides my mother hate it. I've got a bruise from beating my head against a wall listening to them try to convince my very unique 8 year old that she doesn't like neon purple.
4. My son wants to move into the dining room cause it's green and his favorite color is green.
5. I didn't realize this much stuff could fit into a 2 floor 2 bedroom townhouse with only 3 closets.
6. My daughter has a larger wardrobe than me O.O
7. Come to think of it so do my boys!
8. Friday can not come quick enough.

As it stands though after Friday I will be MIA for a week. My internet will take longer than my phone to transfer houses. But at least I will finally be home after 6 long months.

Gratz on getting into a new place, and tell your daughter she rocks! I had my bedroom painted neon green when I was in high school, much to the dismay of everyone else, but I LOVED it, and kept it that way until I moved away from home! I've never understood why people feel the need to try and talk someone out of having their room be the color they want.

It's actually my old place. We had a fire in Feb and it's taken 6 months for the fire restoration to get done. But finally we'll be back in. I love that she's holding to her guns. I keep asking her "baby do you like it?" and she says emphatically yes but it doesn't make her feel good that no one else likes it. I keep telling her that it's her room and it represents her and all that matters is she likes it. That at least makes her smile.

Oh wow, out since February?! You really must be anxious to get back in...gratz on that then ;)

For some reason I decided to look up Mustard on Wikipedia.

Then I moved to Ketchup. Then Worcestershire sauce, Steak Sauce, and now I'm looking at American Cuisine, and making myself frigging hungry.

Yep Feb 24th was the day of the fire. I'm over anxious. I can't believe the vast change that occurred because of it. And my kids wonder why mommy has been bouncing off the walls.

Mileron you just made me hungry.. grrrs and goes off to haunt the kitchen.

yea - he's on east coast enjoying lunch, while I still have 3 hours to go here :P

No I'm not.

I'm "late shift" this week and next. I don't get in til 10:30 and my lunches have to wait til 3/3:30. :(

awww...that sucks. but in that case we can have lunch together lol...sort of ;)

:woot Woot the kids are in school and the house is peaceful and quiet and half cleaned. I can look forward to the long weekend and lots of painting. Erik's decided to repaint the kitchen cabinets and the living room/ upstairs hallway. :ham2

I'm not entirely certain exactly how it came about - but I am going to the Def Leppard concert Friday night. It's being held in an outdoor ampitheater. And the forecast is for rain. again. If it weren't for the heat, I'd swear I was back in Seattle. Well that and the intensity of the rain around Houston. Yuck. Can we say "extra clothes to change into after"?

Last night we spent a bunch of money on computer stuff on Newegg so we can finally have a decent computer woowoo.

I've had a headache since friday night.
