Say Anything.
'Say Anything' is a John Cusak/Cameron Crowe 1989 teen flick. ' A noble underachiever and a beautiful valedictorian fall in love the summer before she goes off to college.' This is actually not what this thread is about, but the message is the same.
Actually no it isn't, I just like imdb.com and the title sounded interesting. /snort
This is not necessarily a vent thread - far from it. This is about saying anything - weather, the bird outside your work window, the fundamental differences between Mormons and catholics, how Law and Order Criminal Intent doesn't get the props it deserves, that I always forget whether it's 'it's' or 'its', that my daughter has a beautiful smile and the first guy that breaks her heart - I'm breaking his knees...it's about anything.
So, say anything.
I wanted to jump out of the plane and die after an hour.
I thought you were just visiting there?
And yeah - I went to visit my GF.
I'll say this though - Arizona isnt Texas. Its a nice place though, but I think I prefer Texas a bit more.
PHx is dry, dirty and overpopulated with illegals hehe, but the winters arent bad.. Flagstaff is beautiful though :)
it sucks cause they occupy abouthalf the city, they dont pay car insurance and they get welfare cause they have kids in the country and they dont pay taxes. pretty good chance if you get into a car accident there that youll have to foot the bill and the person who hit you gets off scot free cause they arent from the country and dont have ins.
It's awfully nice to have a daughter who tells me things :)
God you're an awesome Mom, Darsa lol. I'd be scared stupid now =x
And Lessa, I was kinda joking. =/
Oh yeah! Here's a picture of the little darlings in the back of my van, on our way home from bowling. His friend had to stop at the store, he HAD to have Slim Jims and lollipops. Wierd.

Left w/ m'Lady around 4pm for Northern New Jersey. Checked in to our hotel, then hopped a bus over to the NY Port Transit Authority. Walked to Rockefeller and checked out the tree, then walked to Times Square. Back to the terminal where we had a NYC street hot dog (yum) to hold us over and then after the bus ride back to Jersey we went to a nice diner in Hackensack called Arena. (obvious mob front. okay kidding. or maybe not.)
Saturday we went to lunch at this great pizza place called Mr. Bruno's. THen we went back to the hotel and after a broken shower scare we got ready and left for the show.
We saw Trans Siberian Orchestra at the Meadowlands/IZOD center. It was awesome. And then since they weren't awesome enough they bring out this hack named Steven Tyler.
KIDDING about the "hack" part. It was awesome. HE sang Sweet Emotion and Dream On.
After the show we went to this diner called River Edge. The chicken rice soup was good but the "pilgrim" panini i had was kinda sucky as it was only cooked/toasted on one side.
Sunday we checked out then explored Hackensack and she showed me where she used to live etc before we went to this great buffet place called Bon Buffet. Ate too much and ended up with a horrible stomach ache for the next 12+ hours.
A little before 8pm I discovered there was a text message on my phone to call the guy who hosts the Halloween party I go to every October. Turns out one of the attendees had had a heart attack early Friday and due to various circumstances surrounding her incident is not expected to survive the week. So it was a bit of a rough night.
I ended up joining a 4-cities raid lead by Dirl. It was about a three hour deal - we spent over an hour in Orgrimmar alone, but it was awesome - and my mage ended up with her Black War Bear.
I was up til nearly 3.
I'm freaking tired.
David put some little piece of fluff from the carpet in his mouth and came over to smile at me. I saw him chewing on it so I reached in with my fingers and was rewarded with little BABY shark teeth clamping down on my fingers. He must bite me about a half dozen times a day. Fingers, knees, arms...sheesh.
Little shit!
I'm taking an 8 week networking class to prep for some upper level courses next year. My current assignment involves drawing a very basic network diagram for some non-existent business. Since it's an online course, that won't work well on paper. Literally. So I popped open MS Paint since Photoshop is on the other computer, and I really don't need a catapult to pitch a wiffleball.
Simple diagrams usually mean basic geometric shapes with labels, right? Not for this OCD perfectionist. I found myself slowly replacing the rectangles with pixel art monitors, keyboards, towers, mice, printers, and switches (yes, I even shaped the ports for RJ-45 release tabs and put USB ports on the fronts of the computers). While I was doing this, I was chatting with a friend in CT whose networking degree I helped get several years ago (I was a programmer). I sent him my unfinished diagram, and he started picking it apart. Not seriously, just making real-world suggestions that have no bearing on the assignment, such as consolidating the two wiring closets into one and using the second for broom storage.
Time passed...
...and passed...
...and finally I realized why I wasn't making any progress.
I was waiting for him to hand me back my drawing so I could finish it.
What. The. Fuck?
Sounds like something I might do ><

Mary passed Monday afternoon after being taken off life support. No brain activity was detected and she stopped breathing on her own.
I'll be driving out to Akron OH with the host of the yearly Halloween party to be there for her family.
I cried Sunday night pretty hard... And was mostly ok til just now when I thought of taking Christina out there some day to her grave and saying "Hi Mary, meet Christina" :cry
