Grats, Sarah!
July 2007 - TAC Presents Exalted Crayon ---> Sarah!
Some of us know her by her real name, some of us by her EQ name Braitha and more recently her bomb toting vampire chick Ginnie on SA.com but we all know her as the very sweet, very dirty 
long time TAC member and our July Exalted Crayon of the month - Sarah!
Sarah's been with us since we opened up TAC as an official adult art board - January of 2005 - and has been a contributing 2D artist here and Welcome Committee Staff member over on SanguineAffliction.com. She is always polite, funny and always daring to be a little dirty but also a pleasure to see day to day on the boards. Unfortunately we're losing Sarah over SA, but real life, if you have one lol, is always the preferred home page. We will miss her dearly over at SA but always hope to see her bright and beautiful personality over on TAC.
Join me in congratulating Sarah as this month's TAC Exalted Crayon; a most deserving, warm, beautiful and bright star.

Congratulations, Sarah! Well-deserved as well -- it was wonderful fun digging into what you've contributed to your various boards. And what a deeply creative and nuanced character you made in Ginnie! It was a blast to make her portrait. Verileah's great rendition of Ginnie gave me a great deal of inspiration as well.

All of the above is certainly true about Miss Sarah, but what isn't mentioned is her amazing baked goods! WOW!
Sarah, you've been a great surprise and a great friend to me since we first started typing here and over at SA. Honestly, I expected to get things off the ground at SA with folks I'd known for years - I enjoyed the surprise, and getting to know you. Your humor, your appreciation for all that you have in your life, your creativity...you're a remarkable person. I've enjoyed getting to hear the stories about your kiddos, the adventures they have (and you have by proxy) and the great joy you find despite the hard work.
I've enjoyed growing with you as a writer, and though I am sad to see that end, I am very glad that you will be spending the time and energy in a more valuable place. I wish nothing but the best for you and yours, and am happy to see you taking steps to make them even more of a part of your life. Good for you!
And should free time find you once again, we'll still be here. Cheers!

You are such a wonderful woman! Exalted Crayon all the way for you. I think Tor summed it up way better than I could. Your writing is so amazing and SA will be so sad to see you go but RL does always come first.

OH My Gosh! Oh wow, guys, this is so unexpected!
I'm crying like a lunatic over here and receiving funny looks from the above mentioned kiddos. Wow, I just don't think thank you is a big enough word for what I feel right now. I think when I can be more eloquent I'll come back and say thanks a whole lot better.
And JK...OH wow, that has to be one of the most stunning portraits of Ginnie. I've always wanted to own a piece of your art and I am so proud to say that I do now. Thank you so much.

I have had this entire day to be humbled by the experience of being honored in such a way. I'm not one to put my buck in and bet on winning the prize so I am always awed when someone calls my name. I'm usually that woman clapping happily for the winner until someone pokes me and says, that's you. Then I cover my face and do that silly girly face fanning crying thing.
It is so fulfilling to come to a place and openly share my heart, which is what my art is to me, and have it lovingly ridiculed. I know that no one here is out to hurt me and only want to see me improve in all that I do, be it trying a new technique to actually writing a novella length story. I am truly blessed to be around such people.
I know that my paths have been directed to places that help me grow to be the better artist and writer that I am now and the even better one that I will become. This is one of those places. Honesty is always the best way to help your fellow creationeers grow. TAC has always been an honest place.
So I thank you all for honoring me as an exalted Crayon and I thank you Roz for creating a place where I can come and just be.
I put up the story that I am currently writing, for all of you to share in. I hope you enjoy Ducky, and her antics. I look forward to sharing her with you all.

woohoo!! congrats sarah!
