Will post pics when I can. I know if I have a c section I'm here for 3 days, and 2 with a normal delivery. They are treating me as a possible c section patient and I'm on just ice chips.

Been on pitocin about an hour. Contractions are starting to hurt. I was only 2cm when they checked me before the pitocin, and about 75 percent.

Hopefully that gets you going fast! Just start screaming for the epidural if you're getting one!

LOL I informed the nurse first thing that I wanted an epidural as soon as I could get one. My scoliosis might pose a problem, but we won't know until the pain med guys take a look at me. All else, I'll get some kind of pain medicine.

Hubby Update!

9cm dilated - 100% effaced - water broken

Only a matter of time now, but Little One is being stubborn like her father and wanting to stay inside a bit longer (hey, don't we all, guys? LOL).

I am teaching the nursing staff here how to make proper Navy coffee, though... thus far they are much appreciative!! =)

Holy cow, that was fast! How exciting!!!!!

Hubby Update:

Welcome to the world! Alison was welcomed to us at 0356 EST on 5 December 2007. Vitals:

- 22 inches in length
- 9lbs 4.7oz
- Blue Eyes (for now)
- Strawberry Blond hair (for now)

12 hours after induction and it was over!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! :ole That doesn't seem like it took that long at all, but then I wasn't the one suffering the contractions lol. Job well done!

OMG! Contractions suck...even with epidurals. I'm sore and achey. I had a 2nd degree tear, but my OB said with as big as she was, I got off good. I feel like I've been beat up. I'm here till atleast Friday. The little one is off at the nursery getting her intial tests and things done. I'm hoping my body can slow down and get some sleep here soon.

I'll post pictures when we get some. =)

We're so happy for you! Oh my god, I'm crying!!! What an exciting time for you, Lola!!! Enjoy your bebe girl and Alison is a BEAUTIFUL name. I hope it really pisses off some of the family :teehee

Alison is having some blood sugar issues. Her numbers have been running low, so they are currently trying to get her to eat and are suplementing her with the special formula stuff. If her levels don't even out, she'll get some IV goodies for a little bit. Besides that, all is well with her.

I'm trying to relax, but I got to hurting bad when they had her laying across me earlier. I'm on darvocet and motrin for the pain. I had a small tear, so that's causing some discomfort. Thankfully the hospital food is decent today. Except they gave me unsweetened tea. *gags* I'm a Souther girl, only sweet tea for me! Atleast the sugar packet and lemon juice pack make it drinkable. hehe

I'm fully expecting to get sailor visitors later. I politely asked my husband unit to be back up here by then. LOL. Post more later. =)
