Swings are the best damn things in the world. I can't wait to get one because I know it is the sleepy baby knocker outter let mama have me time best invention ever!

Oh and just wait for her to break a bone that's some grey hair inducing fun! CeCe broke her leg when she was about 2 and a half it was one of the scariest things ever. You'd think she would have been screaming her damn head off but she was so quiet. The quiet was scary.

Oh my god.....I shouldn't have read the last set of posts, since my last. :(

Awww, but Rikr...the best part about all those posts is the fact that the kids survived just fine. Jeez...if I were to list here, all the accidents me and my brothers were involved in when we were kids...but I won't lol. It's all just part of being a kid.

Lessons I've learned from month #1:

Babies are SUPER resillent - Ali's rolled off the couch and the bath rub incident. I was more phased than her.

No matter how stressed you get, some how you still love the wiggly, peeing, projectile pooping, and spitting up little bundle of joy.

No matter how little sleep you get or how many times they wake you up in the night, when they smile at you, it all seems worth it.

Rikr, trust me, I'm new to all this too. I've had some nights I thought I was being a "bad mommie" because of something that happened. Ryan has had to remind me a few times that kids will have accidents. It's part of them learning to controlling their bodies. Both of Ali's accidents have come from her eagerness to make her head work. It's been an interesting month I do have to say. For all the stress and sleepless nights, I wouldn't trade it for anything.

Looks being the key word. LOL. At her last doctor's appoint she weight 10lbs 8oz with clothes on. But that was like a day after she tappered off her growth spurt.

It really does all work out. I think each of my kids had stitches twice before age 3 ( I think CeCe's had them 4 times! ) and one broken leg and god knows how many bumps, bruises and owies. It's just part of being a kid. Some kids are more cautious and some just want to go and explore. One smile, one hug, one I love you makes all that worth it. *sniffle*

As much as I detest all pink outfits...I found this at Once Upon a Child, and couldn't pass it up.

I had sworn up and down that Catherine would have nothing pink but that lasted like 2 seconds after we found out we were having a girl. She had pink kitty everything lol.

She looks so CUTE!

We have pink everything. That's what I wanted at first. I opened her closet the other day and thought to myself, other colors should be in there. :)

Changing table covers are hated by my daughter I think. LOL. I JUST put the cover back on from washing it. As soon as I took her diaper off, she farted...peed...then pooped. LOL. Even if I had had another diaper under her it wouldn't have helped as the pee got some air time and went all over the cover. LOL. When she was done she looked up at me and smirked. The little goofball. I swear. I couldn't help but laugh and tell Ryan what "his" daughter did. lol. I say "his" daughter at the moment because the little smirk she gave was just like his. LOL.

Here are some pics of her smirking at me after cleaning up her and her mess. LOL http://picasaweb.google.com/lolanae/AlisonRegan2ndMonth

This is what happens when you get an overly curious, playful, happy ham in front of a camera...

We are about half way into the first trip thanks to the Navy, since the baby. It's both tougher and easier than being by myself. Tougher due to LOTS more to worry about, but easier in that she keeps me busy. It's also helping prove to myself that I can do this. We've made several walks to WalMart by ourselves, ect.

We'll we've had two firsts lately...first smile and then this...

She started out on her back. I looked back and she'd rolled onto her side! This was the first time she's done that laying flat on her back like this. Wheee!
