speaking of geographical stereotypes, i was reminded of how hick memphis, TN is
was playing tech support on the phone with my sister, and she says "so i click aiight?"
not "alright" or "ok" its "aiight".
If you've ever worked retail...
This site is a good place for a good laugh:

An evil friend pointed this out, and I've been spending just a bit more time than I should have today while at work, reading these. Some of them are dumb and obviously made up, but some of them KILL me! :lol

In New Mexico you 'get down' from your vehicle.
'You gonna get down?'
'Am I going to what?'
'Get down?'
Looks at the ground and the door, 'You mean...get out?'
'Yeah, get down?'
'Oh my jesus.'
Or...
'Hey are you going to finish that?'
'Do what?'
'Do...what?'
'You said something.'
'Yes I did, I said (insert whatever here).'
'I said I didn't hear what you said.'
'....Ok, most people say huh or what, not 'do what'.'
'They say do what here.'
'Yes. I noticed.'
God I hated living there. Do what? Get down? Goin' to the rodeo? NO I AM FUCKING NOT!

out here ( missouri) I havent noticed that.. but they all seem to have these sayings.. some are just gross and some are pretty funny.. and I guess there are about a billion of em cause Ivenever heard any twice.
"Its hotter than a screwed mink in a forest fire!" Is one that was said by my hubby's step-grandmother.
"Im busier than a cat coverin it up!" said by some uncle of his.
A bunch more but those are the first two off the top of my head hehe, oh and Im positive "redneck" is a trait thats genetic or born into..cause i see them in my kids' gradeschool.. not all the kids , just a few. But its there for sure.

Haha
We all go to the beach, like, all the time. It's totally bitchen.
I live in Gilroy (hella Nor-Cal, yo), and I actually see a lot of people wearing their cowboy hats, wranglers, and shit kickers.
Den;101362
I thought the only people who wore cowboy hats all the time were people who live in Texas!?!?
But then I live in California...the land of fruits and nuts, where you see movie stars on every corner, and everyone is tan, and blond, and talks with that valley girl accent, or like a surfer dude...seriously! Party on!
