ROUND 1 - Ethan goes potty (Mafia Hit) OOC DICUSSION

Question: are executive bathrooms generally unisex? Wondering whether that nervous laugh as he bumped into an individual might have be related to the surprise of seeing a woman there.

I'm by no means defending Kilandra/Myraan as she is high on my list. What scares me is typically we always hang a townie on day 1, and it comes because of a push from the mafia. People don't have many clues so once they see someone might die that isn't they they "go with the flow" and these votes based on those scant clues seem a bit iffy to me. On the flip side -t he two people voting for her I had pegged as very low on the clue list and wasn't really suspecting them. So I"m confused.

Since I was the first person to vote for her, I guess I should address this

The reason is simple: scant clues on everyone, I had to go to sleep, and I wasn't sure I'd have a chance to vote in the morning (I'm posting from work now--shh!). Was definitely not confident in my vote, but at this point it's mostly a guessing game.

I'm inclined to think that it's Nadiya or Danielle, I just can't decide which.

Nadiya has the temper, and might have been super-pissed that Agent Hill was in awe of the luxury, and used Christ's name in vain.

Danielle knows the bank, so it would have been easy to find ways in and out of the bathroom that don't alert suspicion.

I am convinced that it was a male that Agent Hill first encountered after leaving the stall, since he wasn't too flustered, and they don't put urinals in co-ed bathrooms. There's not a lot to go off of, aside from Hill having to move around the person, and that they were quiet.

I'm going for Ernest - he was first to report it, not really explaining *why* he was out there, he's a somewhat larger man, and he has that Wilfred 'stache. Never trust a human who looks like a walrus, or anyone who tries to imitate them.

I think that none of the killing clues are based on the "in character" responses. I believe they're all in the narrators (in this case ROz's) posts?

Correct, and motive is really just based on the role so also not a good indicator since the roles aren't really chosen based on it

By day 2 or 3 people start looking at in-character responses, at OOC posts, and at shit you posted last year on another, completely unrelated forum for clues. Not that I disagree with them; just saying, you're definitely not the first person to do it. AND, some of the more daring actually WILL leave clues as to their role in their in-character responses (but that is suicidal, imo).

Who did that? I have avatars and sigs turned off... maybe I should turn them back on. I remember people flipping out about how I must be mafia because I was using a custom sig for the Blade Runner game. Well, I *was* mafia, but it had abso-fuckin-lutely nothing to do with my sig... I just wanted to make my own. I might make my own for this game, too, since we don't seem to have had them made for us this time around.

That's assuming I even live long enough to make one. Maybe I should have made one before the game started. Oops!

I did - I had the red, white and blue campaign button that said "Vulash for SK 2008" or whatever year it was as my avatar when I was the serial killer.
