exactly my point staying quiet... your saying im the one speaking... and it would come back to condem me
im playing my own character this round... i've been doing more studies between school and everything else its the only thing i have time for anymore lol...
im not putting alot out on the table because it always gets turned around on me i understand thats part of the game... its just easier for me to have a character sheet in front of me with a high lighter and highlight what sticks out from every kill
ROUND 1 - Ethan goes potty (Mafia Hit) OOC DICUSSION
Question: are executive bathrooms generally unisex? Wondering whether that nervous laugh as he bumped into an individual might have be related to the surprise of seeing a woman there.

No, I'm saying your bio says your character is the staying quiet type that studies people. When the agent came out of the stall the individual (of which we think is a male) remains silent and just watches him. Then there are lines from the killers about - something about pointless spoken words coming back to condemn you.

That's the only part of his bio that I think fits; the killer just standing there and staring at the agent. I don't see the other things that were mentioned. A gun? Keriath has guns. Red eyes? There's... three? characters with red hair, and two wearing red clothes.
EDIT: I'll have to go back and re-read what the killers were saying. I didn't really pay attention; I just saw (insert preachy stuff here) and then the one bizarre, out-of-place quote.
I thought about watching who people aren't pointing out, too, but I'm not sure I can handle doing it myself. I did go back and look at my own "accusations" post to see who I hadn't mentioned. Like you, some people I didn't mention because the "clue" was too weak (imo), like the red blouse. Then again, I listed a bunch of other weak ones... Hell, I don't know what the fuck I'm doing, lol. My goal was to list the people who mentioned red, numbers, music, and people who were short/small or age 40-50.
I was also wondering about the location of the stalls, as they were pointed out as being on the right, but discarded that as being just fluff. Maybe you're right and there is something there. My initial instinct was that it mattered.
I'm still leaning towards Kilandra or Eve. There is some strong evidence against SnowDragon, but I'm not sure how much of that is coincidental. Like the book she was carrying... I would have never thought to look up information on that. Is that going too far? Who knows. But the classical music theme: pretty strong.

I don't understand the votes for Kilandra already based almost entirely on the psychiatrist card and the stuff with the number 3. Typically numbers aren't a strong clue to a bio in the first hit, and the psychologist thing was mentioned very early in the killing during the scene setting phase. I'm not saying it isn't possible, but the classical music and piano playing seems to be a bigger clue to me than that.
I'm by no means defending Kilandra/Myraan as she is high on my list. What scares me is typically we always hang a townie on day 1, and it comes because of a push from the mafia. People don't have many clues so once they see someone might die that isn't they they "go with the flow" and these votes based on those scant clues seem a bit iffy to me. On the flip side -t he two people voting for her I had pegged as very low on the clue list and wasn't really suspecting them. So I"m confused.

Also - can anyone remember if in the past the mafia waited on their votes on day 1 to see which townie they should quietly swing for, or did they start the pushes (I'm speaking generally).

Ernest Freeman carries an AARP card. As far as anyone else I'm uncertain.
I don't have any super solid suspicions at the moment. I definitely need to go over character bios again.

medical care is specifically mentioned - did someone have medical stuff in their background?

I don't understand the "evidence" against Vudu, aside from the person blocking the agent's way (not so strong) and the business about the killers' quote regarding being careful with words (stronger). But other people keep mentioning it, so I have to just assume I'm blind and can't see it. It's the same way with you and Kilandra.
- MANY references to numbers (this also points to YOU, especially the agent being bad at math)
- Conference room on 3rd floor
- Kilandra mentions "3" a total of four times
Add in the iPod for music reference (weak), the psychiatrist card (FBI Agent is good at psychology, says "Crazy bathrooms", and I think there was another "crazy" reference (strong)), and her size/height (5'3", "to some a little too thin"), and... well, it's day 1. She seems to have the most number of things referring to her.
Not saying OMG SHES MAFIA STRING HER UP! but just saying there's definitely possible clues there. You just happen to disagree.
Then there's Eve. I think the out-of-place quote is a BIG clue and I think it fits Eve to a T. If someone can show me that it doesn't, or that it fits someone else, I'm all ears.
SnowDragon is in bad shape too, with size reference and multiple music references; not just generic music reference, but specific music references. The types of music you might expect to hear in an elevator, or a grocery store, or a high-class bathroom. Like you said, she's from Russia and there's no mention of an accent in the killers' voices, but that could just mean she wasn't talking, or Roz didn't want to give such an obvious clue. A Russian accent would damn SnowDragon and Slipnish right off the bat.
You aren't in a very good position, either! There's MANY references to numbers and a specific reference to math. That can only fit one person. Also, the size/weight and age thing match up (but as you say, that's like half of the males).
I just don't know. If I had to rank the people I mentioned so far, starting with the most likely, it would be like this:
1.) Eve
2.) Kilandra
3.) SnowDragon
4.) Vulash
5.) Vudu
This is all subject to change, if someone can explain to me why they think Vudu is guilty in a way that makes sense to me, or explain why Eve/Kilandra are innocent. Now I'm starting to confuse myself ffs.

Well I was wrong about the gun thing, so Vudu fell down on my list - Not off though. He doesn't just carry a gun, he works with guns and noticed the agents gun
. I can't deny the number references so there is no point in my even trying. If I told you it was just coincidence since most kill scenes start out with number references you wouldn't believe me anyway - I did make a face a bit as I read the kill scene initially. On the other hand maybe the fact that I'm a possible suspect puts me low on the skid list ;) There is another scientist, but that isn't as strong as mine.
Back to Kilandra. I had forgotten the "crazy" part (and I even pointed it outmyself - though I realized later someone else had). So I think maybe that was a bigger clue than I realized. I still don't like the number bits - for the same reason I don't like it for me. Everyone had a lot of numbers in their bios, and I think some of the numbers in the kill scenes were supposed to tell us stuff (6 mafia I think - with 24 players that might make sense - or I did like the mark of the beast thing). Anyway - I may be swayed, and like I said those voting for her were very low on my list so I'm not sold they were pulling a mafia push.
Eve is my other big one besides SnowDragon. The packs a punch thing is damning, but maybe too obvious? I don't know. Rereading that bio right now - then I have to vote and go to bed.

"I tell you, on the Day of Judgment people will give account for every careless word they speak, for by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”
This is a variation of Matthew 12:37, surrounding scripture speaks of the nature of a man, and judgement of and by words. Even Matthew 12:35 : A good man out of the good atreasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth bevil things.
And curiously 12:39 An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a asign; and there shall no sign be given to it.
We know oocly, that the angels are basically the 'bad' guys of this scenario. The demons are the regular townies, going about their lives, unknowing of their roles, or their counterparts. They are not knowingly casting blame or pointing fingers, they are trying to survive, and trying to stay calm, if you will. Chaos is being brought about by the 'good' who has deemed now to be the time of judgement.
the quote that I am having a hard time with is: ‘It takes strength of character to kill something innocent and helpless...I believe that I have what it takes!’
I did find an interesting article involving Ender's Game and the making of the Innocent killer, and liked this: the story of the innocent who is persecuted despite his innocence.
and, though out of context from that article, it is rather befitting this game: The result is a character who exterminates an entire race and yet remains fundamentally innocent.
The angels are innocents. All the people in the building could be deemed such, yet both are enemies, and while the angels would declare themselves pure and right, the demons do not know of their own 'evil' that lies within, if you will, therefore making them also innocents.
"To be a killer you must intend to kill someone. And even if you do intend to kill, you are still innocent if you do it for a larger reason, “selflessly,” without personal motives." We know that the mafia made their hit. We know who their target was, we know how it was done, we know his actions and comments before his death, but we don't know who did it.
For me, the killer came with the final blow: ‘The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For out of the overflow of his heart his mouth speaks.’ This is reference to both Luke 6:45, and Matthew 12:35.
If you are a numbers person (which I guess many are since my character is being put on the chopping block due to her 3's lol) here's what we have:
6
12
35
45
37
six is often denoted as a satanic number. 12 is the number of Christ's disciples. 45 is close to 50, and we have a few men in their early to mid 50's.
I took notice also of the light footsteps, and the comment concerning the surprise of the strength coming from the hands, and for some reason the one quote about the strength of character made me think of one person in particular. She is small, she has 12 keys, and she knows the building as her father works there, Danielle Martin.

I was wrong again - I'm getting tired. Ksagag/Nichole was the one that packed a big punch. I'm not sold on Eve just for being small with red hair. I do like the "misplaced" thing in light of the person not being where they should have been when he left the stall, but that might be too esoteric - and isn't constrained to Eve.

Well - the site is going down for me - I've been about 15 minutes trying to quote kilandra and I can't so hopefully this goes through. I have to head to bed - I'll sleep on it and vote tomorrow.
My big thought after Kilandra's post is: She could have framed any number of other people we were heavy on, but instead pointed at Verileah. This means one of three things to me: 1) She isn't really mafia or she'd have taken the easy way out by pointing at a townie we were already considering highly as mafia. 2) She's VERY clever to have anticipated us thinking that :P 3) I'm lying right now to defend her. I'm leaning towards 1 (not saying you aren't clever! - that would just be an enormous play this early)
Danielle DOES have a lot of clues pointing at her - including the 6 siblings, now the reference to 12 (especially if EVERY verse was from chapter 12) - and lets not forget the Gucci (Italian) purse - a minor one but one.
Anyway at this point I'm leaning towards Nichole or SnowDragon with Danielle and Eve following up I guess - Vudu is still on my radar and I never trust Gongaa (especially since he said "I"m skeered" about 20 minutes after receiving the roles - pft). I'll read the rest of the responses and vote early. Hopefully we're talking 9am pst, but I'll have it in before if I don't hear otherwise.

The main thing (for me) about Eve isn't her red hair or her size, it's this:
tied in with this:
Though I'm not sure where "strength of character" comes into play there. The quote just seems to me like somebody in the midst of self-discovery; realizing that, yes, they CAN do this.
She was always the "good" girl, and never gave her parents any reason to distrust her. Two years away, her major still undecided, and Olivia has learned that being a lil bit "bad" can feel oh so good.

Can't wait to see what tomorrow brings! This is fun! :)

Right now I'm leaning towards Kilandra/Myraan. I don't know... they just seem like they'd have a surprising appearance based on their character bio.
My runners up are:
Also, Gongaa/Sammy "Fink" Clark stands out because in his bio he doesn't believe humans deserve to exist, so maybe he would be involved in an apocalyptic plot? Humm...

Hey now, that was a reaction to Roz talking about serial killers and mad fukken bombers!
I had a big fat exam yesterday, so I spent most of my time working on that (and making up for a sleep deficit afterwards!) and not reading things very carefully. I'll have to go with the flow this time around and hope I can wrangle up some more time to be a world-class numerologist like the rest of you dudes on the next kill!

Hmm. I reread bios and I guess that I should have done what I was origionally going to post up, and that is a history of my character with it. But, I didn't, because it wasn't asked for. She isn't light on her feet, and she is anything but graceful. But, someone has to die the first day I suppose.
Anyway, after rereading the bios and this thread again, there are a few that are just kind of tugging at me. Clues abound, but then, I have to wonder am I seeing clues where there actually are clues, or is my mind playing with me, because there is so little to actually go on this early? I still think that one of the main killers in the group that killed Ethan is indeed a petite woman. We have several petite women in the bios. Nadiya, Olivia, Nichole, Danielle, Ruth, Jayden, and yes, Myraan.
Of these, Jayden is wearing red. Red and black.
Ruth is also wearing a form of red. Burgandy, and is more polished than the other women.
Danielle is a 'pixie-like girl', carrying a Gucci bag, with the 12 keys, and a father who is/was an employee of the bank.
Nichole is petite, has a temper, 'packs a punch', she bought her purse 6 years ago, the number 2 shows up at least three times, as well as 3 twice, and is not afraid of standing out.
Olivia is a good girl, good girl who is learning to be bad. She's been at school for 2 years. She has red hair.
Nadiya is wearing black and orange. She is carrying classical music sheets, she started ballet at 4, at 12 she knew she wouldn't make it, she's Russian.
Myraan is wearing black mostly. Mentions 3 three times. Has a psychiatrist's business card, fidgets a lot.
I reread the post of the day, also. There are notes of red, marble, talking of how elegantly decorated the bathroom is. 6 is repeated several times, 'muzak' is playing, someone small was part of the attack, someone that surprised him with their strength, then we have the out of place quote, someone trying to prove something to someone perhaps? The need to please? I at first thought of Danielle, but after reviewing, I think that Olivia is the one to watch out for.

Man, it sucks to have so many newbies on the chopping block for day 1 :(.
I feel like there are a lot of parallels to Vudu's bio in the hit, and actions in the hit that fit the character. Having both elements makes a more compelling case imo than just parallels, which could be a coincidence. I understand that's the same case for Eve, having a character that fits the strange bit of dialog and a bio with parallels, but I think Vudu has the stronger connection. So that's why I voted the way I did *shrugs*
