Guess that makes any suspicion in Jeremy's direction moot.

So...the SK saves Jeremy, then lets him almost choke to death, then drops a microwave on his head.

Does anyone else think the save at the beginning might have been a hint that the SK got the doctor? Because...fuck.

I was confused about the yeasty/flatbread thing. Isn't that more yeasty? Also, almonds are hardly bad for you - they are a nutritious snack. Except when one chokes to death on them.

Anyway, any health nuts (O_O) we should be looking into?

Hmm, a Yiddish word and eastern speak. Possibly referencing the Chinese restaurant and Jewish Deli Boris owns? OMG it's a Serial Godfather Killer!

Also, I'm a fucking idiot - flatbread doesn't have yeast, does it? Is this another Jewish reference?

I must admit, all the talk of food in that SK hit did make me think of Boris somewhat, too. Seems a bit too on the nose though, since I can't find any other bio with as overt a reference to food as Boris' so I reckon it's something a bit more subtle.

I think, however, that the opposite is true - we can rule out people with dreadful diets and/or impoverished backgrounds.

I asked my good buddy, the internet, wtf a braggadocio was, and he told me it's a character in Edmund Spenser's (whose sonnets I don't like) "The Faerie Queen." If I weren't the serial killer myself, I'd think that was a pretty un-pixie-like finger pointing at our pixie-like friend:

Gongaa, I am curious why you keep joking about being the SK when you have the most overt reference to animals (zookeeper) in your character bio. Joking around, or attempting to divert from your real role?

edit: Hang on, where was that Animal Planet thing? I've totally lost which thread that was in Oh wait, I've found it - I was looking for "Animal Planet" instead of "Planet Earth".

Seriously though, I do indeed have an animal reference in my bio. On the other hand, it's more than a stretch to say I'm the only one. I'd say stating you're obsessed with an animal is pretty overt. Are you sure I'm the one who's deflecting?

Well, I'm not the one running around claiming to be the SK

And no, obv there are lots of animal references going around - me with elephants, hamsters, rhino kneecaps, etc, but a zookeeper is the most blatant of all of these since it's a general liking of animals more in line with watching Planet Earth, than just a ref to one particular animal.

The animals point towards mafia anyway - of which I still think Gongaa is a suspect, but I don't see the connection with the SK hit.

I'm at work so I can't spend much time looking, but I swear there was a yeast reference in a bio. There was also another jewish reference or two that haven't been mentioned yet. It bothers me that Boris has good clues from both mafia, and SK - which means one of those sets (at least) is completely wrong.

I was also a bit confused on the nutrition parts since Almonds are awesome for you - either way the serial killer did know about food.

His opinionated and tongue-in-cheek sense of humour meant he was never too far away from controversy. Sometimes labelled as racist by those not appreciating his sense of humour and frequent jibes about the Germans and Americans, as well as gags about truckers murdering prostitutes, and of course his unapologetic climate-change scepticism, he has polarised opinion, much like a tasty/revolting yeast based spread.

Ruth is a second generation Polish Jew in the United States. She married a "nice Jewish boy" at the ripe old age of 20, and has been relatively happily married with two children out of the house, and the third soon to follow. Although she is not religious, she still embraces her culture. L'chaim!


Yiddish in the bio. And she's not religious, which fits nicely with the storyline. And her 'large green eyes' could be eyes of ENVY!

Jeremy Clarkson in real life is pretty damn tall, so pretty much everyone would look up to him at least a bit.

6ft 5 according to the Internet.

The fact that he is grabbed from behind at the breastbone means the SK couldn't be that much smaller than him - unless he was sat down

Actually, since his knees buckled beneath him, this rather points at him being stood up during the kill.

Tallest characters are:

Victor, Joel (6ft 2)

Boris (almost 6ft)
Spencer (5ft 10)
Sammy (5ft 9)
Ernest, Ella, Vivian (5ft 8)
Bernie, Professor Horatio, John Smith (medium height, exact size unspecified)

Everyone else is either unspecified or described as small, petite, or other such synonyms. Unless I've missed any - in which case point 'em out, and I'll add them to the list.

I'm not sure about all the food, but I did notice there is a bit of OCD going on at the end of the kill.

With a quick wipe on the counter, the stranger righted the bag of almonds that had tipped over and laid the towel in the middle section of the double stainless steel sink. Stepping over the dead man, the stranger exited, closing the door behind them.

Seems like wiping off the counter and righting the bag of almonds seems like he/she wants everything back on order. Also fixing the towel? Sounds like a touch of OCD to me.

Also found this... One Bio jumped out when there was a Jewish reference:
Name: Ruth Shapiro

Character description: Ruth is a petite women in her mid 40's, with light brown hair pulled back into a neat ponytail. She has large green eyes framed by well maintained eyebrows, and a pair of black rimmed glasses. Her nose is very... prominent, and she has full lips and a pale complexion. It doesn't say that the killer peered "up" at him, just that he peered at him.

Being clean and OCD are not necessarily the same thing - even being VERY clean. I agree there are definitely neat/clean references in both the mafia hits and the SK hit now, and if I wasn't my character I would be looking at the OCD line, but there are others that mention being clean/organized as well - and my OCD line as not in reference to cleanliness.

Anyway, I didn't know Jeremy was a real person. Either way I can't see Roz looking up his real height and then writing that obvious detail/clue (that one isn't vague at all) if it were someone 6 foot tall. I'm 5'7 and I don't really peer up when talking to people 6' (5 inches taller than me) - someone 6'4 though and I do have to look up.

I have no reason to defend Boris - we're talking about the SK here. If we want to hang him as mafia I could get behind that with his organ references and the cooking/food theme from the mafia hits - but I don't want to misinterpret the clues from the SK hit to do so.
