This is not necessarily a vent thread - far from it. This is about saying anything - weather, the bird outside your work window, the fundamental differences between Mormons and catholics, how Law and Order Criminal Intent doesn't get the props it deserves, that I always forget whether it's 'it's' or 'its', that my daughter has a beautiful smile and the first guy that breaks her heart - I'm breaking his knees...it's about anything.

Day 2 with my iPad. Been exploring the Internet a lot with it! It kinda got me on a nostalgic kick of how far the Internet has come since I wrote my first snippet of HTML . It's so amazing. In 1 click, I registered for a site using my google login. I didn't have to fill out captcha or any other form, just click a button to allow access.
The ai of the Internet - it's ability to find content similar to what you already read, is just mind-blowing. One of my favorite time-wasters is feedly, a browser extension for firefox and safari. It reads my bookmarks and finds content similar to that. It beats the hell out of the Sunday paper.

So Monday morning, they switch our water off at like 8am for prepping to split the lines to our house (it used to be one big house so one water line). They didn't show up to dig up our front yard til 4pm Monday. They were supposed to have it done by Tuesday afternoon. Alas, Guy calls me to tell me that they are off to stay at our friends house so that they can have a shower, while I get to come home to a house with no water. I can't wash my clothes (I do laundry like once a week cos it takes me that long to make a load) and I can't have a shower, wash my hands, nothing. And the kids left a turd in both toilets that can't be flushed and now I really need to go but don't like baring my own butt to someone else's turd. It might jump out and bite me.
I hate this province with their lazy, half-assed attitudes. Seriously, how can they go home at 5pm every night knowing that its going to be our 3rd day with no water/sewage?! It's fucking disgusting!

You should have been able to flush each toilet once, I think, it just wouldn't refill.
we keep extra, gallon sized jugs of water in the cabinets in case we lose our water.. just so we can flush toilets if needed.
We have only had the city water turned off once, but its a very small town, it happens. We live in tornado alley, so if a flood or tornado came and took out any of the utility companies, we want to be as prepared as possible

Eriks wow account just got hacked :( and of course he's not at home so I am trying to fix this shit. They changed his email passwords which kind of blows... but since our hotmails were linked I could still access his ... I'm too scared to unlink them because I cannot change that password so I set up a new email for him with a different service... I am having such a bad anxiety attack now :( He won't be home til 7 ish and it's ONLY 8:40 am!!!! Good thing the ONLY other guild member we have was on and saw him strip the guild bank. so I was able to deguild his 2 other toons. He is going to be so pissed.
Man why the guild bank :( No one put any of that stuff in there except me that was MY STUFF. Fucking assholes.

It's not the WoW stuff it's that his password was the same for our bank account, our paypal, our credit card accounts, everything. And I warned him that he should change it because we read an article of the top 10 most used passwords and his was #3. But he wouldn't listen to me. So when he sees he has a keylogger on his computer what does he do? Logs on WoW and pays the bills and checks the bank. Unfortunately I am not on MOST of those accounts so if some one were to drain our bank account or charge up our credit cards there's diddly shit I can do but sit here and watch it happen.

Most banks only make you responsible for 50 bucks worth of fraudulent charges, if that. Same with credit cards. Nothings lost.

I think I have done what I could to change passwords and I'm scanning his computer for anything off... he's just going to have ot fix this mess when he gets home. It's entirely possible that one of the girls was the ones to have something fishy on their computers .... what a mess.

It'll be ok hun most likely the hackers are simply game hackers, and if there is an issue with the other accounts it'll get sorted.

Yeah i just don't like not being able to fix things :( I finally got it to where I made a new email, changed his wow acct to that email, set a new password (hes gonna kill me for my 14 character password!) and logged on his account....he's got a lot of level 80 naked blood elves... Oh well. They also changed his facebook password. So weird. Kind of sucks for me I used his facebook to give myself neighbors on farmville =P He'll have to sort the rest out when he's home. I've been on an anxiety bender for the last 4 or so days and I just need to let it all go.

I used to have a few piercings when I was in high school, but I am allergic to the nickel they use to make most jewelry, so anytime I wear any earrings I tend to get an infection ( even if its sterling silver or high quality gold) But most of these dont require piercings! :)
