No lie I was good at Math in 5th grade when it was a contest to see who could do multiplication and division sheets the fastest. I developed a little speedy system to fly through em and actually got em right and won a few times.

anyone else take their kids to go see that new Owl movie? PG my ass. Violent as shit. My kid is 4 and he was bored, scared, bored again and then pumped when they all started killing each other. Granted you don't see any blood or actual deathblows but your see the deathblow in action and then a quick cut away and then a helmet falls to the ground....They all have hardcore weapons too. I know what your thinking, what did you expect dummy? Well I dont know smarty pants. Its a good movie for say 8yrs and up =D I wanna take our 10yr old cuz he'd love it. Basically its like Lord of the Rings for kids.

So, the man left for Guam on Monday. One of the jobs around the house he didn't get done was running the internet line from the old office to the new one in the garage (I got displaced by the inlaws that moved in) My Father in law decided he would take it upon himself late Monday night to do this chore and disconnected my internet. Wed night (mind you this should have taken an hour not 2 days) he announces it is finally hooked up. I hook up the modem and...nothing. He shrugs his shoulders at me and is like oh well I tried, says he is now too tired to do anymore with it and will look at it again in the morning. He goes into town instead on Thurs and does not look at the internet. I called the isp on Thurs afternoon and they sent out a tech this morning. I at least can get online again.

I have this problem more with english than math lol. I can't for the life of me write an essay, I know the answers to questions but can't figure out how the fuck to write what I'm thinking into words that make sense to anyone else. I used to get soooo frustrated at school/college when I couldn't do it right. Teachers were baffled too because I was never diagnosed with any learning difficulty or anything... (never had a problem with spelling, reading or grammar (when I am writing for a purpose anyway :P )) I learn quickly, but can't express it. I'm almost certain I only passed high school English because it happened to have a descriptive/story piece that I had to write instead of analytical. Fiction comes easily to me, but I can't pick someone else's apart.

I suppose really I did have a problem in math too, because I could work that shit out in my head using my own method, but I couldn't show my working in the "proper" way to do it. I could do it while it was really fresh in my mind, like if we'd been concentrating on long division in class, but after a few weeks I;d forget, and to this day I can't remember how to do it >.<

writing was my lowest score , reading i did just fine with and math i guessed it all and still got a score were i could take the math i need for MLT, but since i had to guess it all i'm gonna talk to my advisor and see which one i should be taking lol.

What is MLT?

It's just a BLT where you substitute some M for the B.

Don't let them talk you into jumping into a math course you aren't comfortable with - it's worth the time to drop down one level and make sure you fully understand the fundamentals of it instead of having a hazy idea of what to do. It will make most of your other classes go smoother. And congrats!

Actually I'm still not sure exactly what the entails. What would you do? Are we talking like hardware, software, or using other machines that aren't necessarily computer based?

Yea i'll be going to a math i know least some of it and then move on up. as for MLT they test blood and such. for once i'm really looking forward to going to school.
