'Say Anything' is a John Cusak/Cameron Crowe 1989 teen flick. ' A noble underachiever and a beautiful valedictorian fall in love the summer before she goes off to college.' This is actually not what this thread is about, but the message is the same.

Actually no it isn't, I just like imdb.com and the title sounded interesting. /snort

This is not necessarily a vent thread - far from it. This is about saying anything - weather, the bird outside your work window, the fundamental differences between Mormons and catholics, how Law and Order Criminal Intent doesn't get the props it deserves, that I always forget whether it's 'it's' or 'its', that my daughter has a beautiful smile and the first guy that breaks her heart - I'm breaking his knees...it's about anything.

:yell We've been having issues with our plumbing. A clog somewhere. The washer spews out water during the drain cycle. Erik tried to fix it. He said he did. He failed to hook the fucking drain line back up and didn't tell me. So we have no clean towels. I want a shower. I go to wash some towels. I see no water spewing so I go upstairs to get something to eat. Come back down and there is water SHOOTING out of the back of the washer all over the wall and where it plugs into the wall. So now there's water all over the wall where there's electricity and I dunno that it's safe to go in there. The bathroom is in the laundry room.

I AM KILLING ERIK WHEN HE GETS HOME! :yell:yell:yell:yell:yell:yell

You would think he would learn by now but nooooo. It will be fixed when he gets home since I am not moving the washing machine. I mean who the hell would push the washing machine back in but not hook it completely back up? Makes no sense to me! I want a shower so bad :(

I'm getting a new hard drive for my computer and hubby is installing it tonight; hopefully that will take care of my problems and I can art again! :cheer

... hopefully water won't come shooting out of it when I turn it on :teehee

I would be alright with it all if the sun decided to set about 30 degrees or so more south or north.. cause it blinds me and I cant see my computer.. :(

I have this huge bay window around my desk, with the center one this big stained glass window.. I cant cover it, but good lord it gives me headaches and i can hardly see my screen :(

:cry Well, Poser is still super laggy, even with a new internal HD and video card, and a total wipe and clean install and NOTHING on my computer but Windows and Poser. Does anyone have any thoughts as to why Poser would be lagging like that? I know this isn't the appropriate forum, but I R puter dum and would feel like an idiot trying to post in the tech forums! :cry

have you instaled recent drivers for your video cards lately? not sure if it would work, but worth a try, poser might have updates as well..

hubby sez I can't cram any more memory into my computer; apparently it's an old motherboard and only has two slots or something like that... And I just got me a new video card and installed all the drivers for it, so I don't *think* that's it. Lookit me, goin' on like I know what the heck I'm talking about :teehee

Theres some kind of alarm going off in my basement.. looks like a smoke alarm.. but theres no smoke and i cant figure out how to turn the darned thing off, ugh :(

Ryan got a new video card for my computer...he put it in...NO WORKIE WORKIE...

So now time to try to get it replaced or a credit. Le sigh.

I wake up with the intention of finding the blank cds or dvds I had and clearing some crap off my laptop. Open the door to our cold storage room. Peek in. Can't see a damn thing because there's no light in there. But what little I do see is scary as hell. Books and boxes and computer parts oh my. We won't even get into the bag of potatoes that have been in there ... oh 5 months and now have sprouted. Don't ask. My fault. Out of sight out of mind. Still have no idea where the cd/dvds are. Only 6 gbs left on my hard drive.

sometimes I swear I feel like I may as well quit doing art cause its just not that good and Ill never be great at it..

Daz monthly and studio galleries up again and again they dont pick anything Ive submited.. and I dont know what I do wrong that makes it not good enough.. especially when i see crap up there without shadows or so grainy you cant see features of the models.. grr!

/rant off.

I made it in the monthly once and I was surprised. It pisses me off that the same people with the same god damn look make it in every god damn month. Don't use it as validation - your art is exceptional and quite beautiful, fuck Daz.

I totally agree, never could understand their methods for choosing, other than they're apparently looking for mainly portrait/head shots and from particular people. *shrug* I've submitted a couple of times, but never got much into it because I kept seeing the same thing every month =/
