Round 3 - /OOC

Anyway, Hitchhikers Guide to Mafia had the SK as the last man standing. Haunted Mansion had the SK and a mafia member as the last two standing and they insisted on a tie rather than betray each other. It was very sweet. Or very nauseating and annoying :D.

I *ALMOST* won the Blade Runner mafia as the SK, but pharren (mafia) got the first hit and he keeled me!!! That was a fun game. =D

Prairie had the most Doctor saves ever thanks to a fairly bungling mafia :bows:

havta to head back to work pretty quick, but I've been going over the various theories and checking out a few things... and thougt i might point out this interesting tidbit from Grenn's bio - specialty is Visual Mathmatics. Combine the joystick through the eye from Lynn's death, with the math references in Stormie's death and it does make a certain degree od sense.

Or at least as much as any theory does at the moment, considering how murky the water has gotten...

Nah, It's not like I don't accept defeat. I've just hit myself in the head for making the wrong choice.

One thing I wanted to point out, with reference to the SK -- all the deaths they have been responsible for have involved strength, and breathing. PInual was choked with a sock rope, Theresa was beaten, lifted and carried to the null-grav where she ultimately suffocated, and Michael was smothered by a pillow held to his face - which had to have been done by someone stronger than he was, or he would have been able to free himself, most likely. We don't know how big Pinual was, but we do know Theresa was 4'8" and weighed 85lbs, and Michael was 5' and weighed 79lbs (converted from centimeters and kilograms).

Emilio, and Armando are both 4'10" and weigh 100lbs. Willie is 5'3", but a puny 85lbs. Zenan is also 4'10", and also only 90lbs. Splaz is a bit on the chunky side, weighing 108lbs, but is only 4'7"...shorter than both Theresa, and Michael.

I think all these people need to be looked at with reference to being able to kill like the SK did.

The only people both tall enough, and heavy enough to have the physical ability to do these things would have to be taller, and heavier than the dead, unless they had other means to compensate. Ezekial is 5'6" and weighs 125 lbs, being the largest kid around. Abay is the next largest kid being 5'2" and weighing 105lbs.

Some strength was required, definitely--but how much? Of the SK's victims: Pinual was more of a thinker than a fighter (the mafia mocked his physical abilities, and he was at the bottom of the standings), Michael was supposed to be mediocre in everything besides organization (character bio), and Teresa apparently didn't know how to fight at all:


So some leeway for height and weight must be taken into consideration... a smaller person can take on a larger person, if they know how to fight and have surprise on their side.

Well actually just the first and third SK hits deal with breathing/choking/suffocating/asphyxiation. The second one, Teresa's, looks like she was dead from the beating before she even hit outer space.

What's confusing is how the SK held onto her with the utmost tenacity AND managed to beat her to a bloody pulp.

Whether or not you really know how to fight might not make much of an issue when you're struggling for your life. I would imagine even the smallest, ill equipped fighter would still thrash around pretty damn strongly, when faced with dying.

Another point to consider, SK-wise:



We do have two among us who mention pattern recognition in their bios. Willie, and Ezekial.

Some additional insight to the SK, in Ezekial's case.

1. The biblical reference Jacob brought up, regarding the shepherd thing. A good point; I looked for stuff like that initially but didn't know how to really go about digging for it.

4. The SK is obviously large enough to lift all of his victims or physically overpower them some way. At 5'6" and 125 lbs, Ezekial is the largest kid left alive (for those we have actual numbers on anyhow). The only one bigger was Dantes, who obviously was lynched.

Perhaps that's not meant to parallel anyone's bio at all, but Ezekial's mentions

6. The SK thus far has expressed a desire to "help," and has been very "understanding" albeit in a quiet way. Ezekial's bio mentions he is quiet and sensitive.

Yes, they could all be totally off-base. But at the moment, they're the best I have to go on.

Ok, Ezekiel, you rationalise that I must the serial killer, on the basis that you didn't just get killed ?!?

That could mean absolutely anything or nothing.

Couldn't I also rationalise that I am still alive because you are the serial killer for exactly the same reasons ? Or if I were the serial Killer, couldn't I kill you with the cover that it was _too obvious_ for me to do so, and hence somebody must be framing me ?

Here we have a very clear struggle! Kicking screaming, fighting for life. The killer hear was strong.

This took someone failry strong/large, it was no sneak attack in the dark, it was brute force.



Finally, onto another matter. Eduardo (who I just noticed has voted for my death again ;) ), has been linked with you by numerous people, and today he starts off about the Mafia being in cahoots with the SK. With his and your combined activity, that rather looks like a smoke-screen for him being mafia & indeed in cahoots with the SK (That being you ;) ). Shouting it out loud, but aimed at somebody else, to make it seem impossible that you both are doing the very thing that you accuse others of.

HOWEVER, I concede that this is purely conjecture, and it is not effecting my descission right now.

I am more swayed by what I see as a wealth of evidence linking the Serial-Kill and Ezekiel's bio.

So I will be voting Ezekiel.

Well, Ezekiel 34 does have an awful lot of shepherd references for a book of the old testament, I'll grant you that. And I found one Haiku, but it took quite a few tries:

This should be a search on "Shepherd" in the Old Testament.

You know what though? In Day 2 it says . Is this "they" inclusive of her lover? No one is exactly her age. Ezekiel came to the school late, just last year, so it does not point to him. There are a number of 11 year olds and 13 year olds, but if we go back to day 1, the time of the appointment was 11 p.m. Just thoughts.

Well, many have already voted for an innocent townie to get killed (ie me), but I will write out reasons why I don't fit the SK mould as well as you think... give me a few minutes, I just got home from work ;)

That's like taller than me in rl, thats one huge kid. As for weight, I have trouble converting it into stones, but it would have to be someone with a decent weight about them to carry another into the air lock thing. It would also require strength or sheer size/weight to hold down someone thrashing under a pillow.
