Tamaelia, I'm always happy to find you've gotten my name. I'm glad you've read the books and liked the character too. I thought she was interesting and complicated like so many of the ones in that series. I love the image you've done and the attitude it portrays; to me it shows her pride and yet the tragedy of her situation. You did a lovely job! Thank you so much!!!

Sartori, I am almost choked up looking at what you've done, and I didn't expect to be. I was nervous because "The God of Small Things" holds a special place in my heart, and Ammu's actions and very nature were the catalyst of everything that happened and all of the consequences.

Her pose and clothing are restrained and constrained but languid. Her face and form are sensual by nature but her spirit is a thousand miles away. I don't think that she ever knew what she was looking for, but she needed it with all of her soul. Just to see her there at night at the moment where she's about to steal a second of freedom from the crushing restraint of her life despite the consequences brings back the impact of the book when I first read it 10 years ago.

This is truly a gift that is dear to me, and I thank you for giving it.

I think it's great that so many people got into the stories behind the characters and I really liked the variety of books we got in this exchange.

Starry!! You are so welcome! I knew how I wanted to portray her - I loved this character when I read the book - so serious and studious... I really wanted to somehow get the Beast in there, but could not pull it off, so I may redo this one in the future if I figure out out to portray a wolf-man...
