Ive been meaning to do something like that as well.. but never got around to it. I would do a couple.

That sounds like a great idea actually. I wouldn't mind tossing in a few as well. I also have plenty of space on my host I could throw up an extra coppermine gallery or something for these, but I'm crap at customizing those hehe.

or something like those doll builders I not sure how to do all that but like a bunch of different backgrounds, some render pngs of characters and different borders. hehe
would be cool to do some I can do some renders real quick but i really dont have time at the moment to fiddle fart around with anything else =x

Well what you could do is make some renders on a plain white background with no shadows...or maybe some loud colour no one is likely to use so that they can alter the colour of the background easily or take it out and put in a screenshot if they have that much talent.

It would probably be difficult or at least a lot of work to do a 3d paper doll program like the pixel bits...but I could be wrong about that.

no not aa actuall real "paperdol" program just one with the same media/program that you can click the background , the rendered png image and a border then they can save it and add their own stuff in . haha yeah i dont know how to explain shit =/

Ya, if it would work doing all as png's I think we could definately make it work like that. Again, I am shit at putting it all together, but definately willing to run some renders for it.

There was a huge debate on DA about this, remember? People doing 2D renders for manips. There are a lot of resources over there, at least.

think this would be more like a sig kit than just 3d stock.. if Im following right.. bg + figure + add your text = your new sig.. or something like that.

It would be kinda neat if there was one website where we could collectively make stuff like that, a generic type of sig, with the option of commissioning one of the artists to make a custom one. If that makes sense? I dunno need more coffee!

I'm more for you guys making money for your time than giving sigs to people so they won't steal them =/ Ya'll are nicer than me though. I'm jaded. =/

It's not a being "nice" thing its marketing .. Draw people in and advertise yourself with a few samples of you work if they are honest enough and like the work they will come back for more. Ya know when you go to the store and they give out free samples type thing .... We all know the power and beauty of actually having a custom made signature / artwork vs random stuff thrown together hehe

Beveled edges used to be all the rage when photoshop was young and new. Now it is dated; its about like wearing your parachute pants and one side pony tail and thinking you're "totally awesome".
