The time has come....
Please post here suggestions for romantic ways for me to ask my girlfriend to marry me. We have discussed it and the answer is a forgone conclusion, but I want to make sure I do it like a pimp, so she shall never forget.
I have an idea or two, but I want to see what you guys come up with first.

lol no pressure .....
I gues I'm lucky in the finance department. My hubby and I have one saving/checking and we never fight about it. The only thing that we have had a disagreement about over the years was my game play.. tho I didnt agree with him at the time he was 100% right. :( I sucked lol One day I will get him to play a game with me (and my son) One day!! one day!!!! *shakes angry fist*

Ok here is the best move I ever heard, this was done by one of Vit's brothers.....
Send her a cassette tape ala Mission Impossible (should you choose to accept this mission, etc...)
Send her to different places. I know one place he sent her to was a fancy store at the mall who had a dress all ready for her that she changed into. He did a few different stops. The last stop was one of the fancy restaurants down in Tampa (forget the name, but you can frequently spot pro football players and other celebs there) where he had rented out the back room. She entered the back room and he was standing there in an Armani Tux. His parents, her parents and all the brothers and sisters were there and he proposed to her on the spot.
Pretty slick, IMO.

Meh. Well, I know my own man is going to propose at some point in the future... but I refuse to give him much in the way of hinting at how, since the important part to me is that whatever he does is done because he thought about it and decided to do something he thought we'd both like.
It's the same with the ring. I gave him a few ideas about what i kind of like, but ultimately, I don't wanna point and him buy... I want something of him in it, too, so I'm not gonna give him all the answers. :)
He seems content with that.
Knowing him it'll be the duct tape and marker... but I'd laugh my ass off if he did, so I pray he doesn't ever read this thread. Cause I can't go to work with permanent marker on my forehead. :P
Anyhow, if ya did it already Miz, I hope it went well!! And if you didn't yet, from my POV what makes it special is that you're doing whatever it is you're doing because you're thinking of her, and your futures together. :)

Shit went down like gangbusters.
I had two friends run up about 20 mins ahead of us when we went up to "our spot" in the Smoky Mountain National Park. The view is absolutely breathtaking up there (look at the pics I posted for reference).
It was sunset and I bought about 200 candles and my friends had them set up and lit all along the walkway up the fire tower (the spot where I took the pictures). At this point she knew something was up, but she hid it well.
I had a bottle of champagne and two glasses waiting up top and I took her all the way up to the top and asked her there. The look on her face was something I will never forget and she quickly replied YES and gave me the most passionate kiss I have ever had.
No date set as of yet, but it'll probably be in a lil over a year.
