Future Mafia Games

I was thinking strictly a scenario on The Wall, if that helps.

that would narrow the field... quite literally!!

I say the mods should get hold of the Battlestar remake and give it a watch... I think it's completely crying out for a mafia game... mafia who don't even consciously *know* they're mafia in the roleplay scenes etc. :)

That said Stargate would be awesmoe!

What about an Anita Blake motif? Lots of were creatures, vampires, other bits of supernatural nastiness. Ted, her best (human) friend would make an EXCELLENT killer...

In the meantime, everyone plays some sort of supernatural whatsis and the lynchings would be totally horrible and grim.

Still interested in doing The Matrix Mafia! And I don't know if this has been mentioned, because I don't want to scroll back through 13 more pages of posts, but:

World of Warcraft Mafia? Where the Mafia are Shadow Council or Twilight's Hammer, and the scenario could be like a wrecked ship going from Booty Bay to Ratchet or something like that, and therefore contains a mix of both factions (Alliance and Horde).

I still like the idea of Wheel of Time Mafia, too, with the Black Ajah as the Mafia.

Remember the movie The Faculty? Players could be teachers OR students, and still be Townie or Mafia. That could make for some... interesting roleplay scenarios o_O;

And why not do some of these old Mafia games again? If they were fun once, they might be fun twice!

I still want to do the Pod people...we've been talking of doing that for friggin years. I'm sure Mai and Rae would come back to do the Matrix mafia. I was honestly surprised so many people signed up for this one, especially the newbies :wave, so maybe we can reboot the Mafia and try some of the ones you suggested, P$.

Awesome mafia ideas follow:

* House Budget Committee (GOP vs Dem. Reps., House Minority Leader GF with moderate SK killing off ideologues~~)
* Wal-Mart mafia - cashiers + manager GF vs. customers - SK is activist trying to bring down evil empire
* The Outsiders - Socs vs. Greasers + Ponyboy GF
* Romeo and Juliet Mafia - House of Montague vs. House of Capulet. Mercutio is SK~. Kill scenes are written in iambic pentameter.
* Romantic Composers - Davidsbund society (GF Robert Schumann) vs. extravagant Wagner-Liszt school. SK Hector Berlioz
* Bud Light mafia - Less filling vs. Tastes great. GF and SK are both alcoholics (edit: SK is PBR drinker posing as Bud Light fan)

LOST mafia...The others = mafia, sk = black smoke, etc etc

WoT mafia sounds fuuuuuun <3 <3 <3 Or Avalon mafia (not sure if that's been done) ... Or Grimm / Other Fairytales mafia ... that would be even more love than WoT
