Say Anything.

'Say Anything' is a John Cusak/Cameron Crowe 1989 teen flick. ' A noble underachiever and a beautiful valedictorian fall in love the summer before she goes off to college.' This is actually not what this thread is about, but the message is the same.

Actually no it isn't, I just like imdb.com and the title sounded interesting. /snort

This is not necessarily a vent thread - far from it. This is about saying anything - weather, the bird outside your work window, the fundamental differences between Mormons and catholics, how Law and Order Criminal Intent doesn't get the props it deserves, that I always forget whether it's 'it's' or 'its', that my daughter has a beautiful smile and the first guy that breaks her heart - I'm breaking his knees...it's about anything.

So, say anything.

It's good that you told him - if you had just avoided it he would never have known this kid was doing that (and the other employees were allowing it) and they would have continued to harm this guy's reputation without his even knowing it.

See how sincere he is before you punch him :P If he's an asshat when he does a baseball bat to the balls is warranted, if he just seems insincere a normal kick to the balls works, if he's honestly sincere just go for the nose

LOL Well I have a plan ;) I took video and pictures of the dicks on the wall and I'm gonna tell the little shit if I get the slightest hint of bullshit or insincerity coming off of him that I have no problem calling the sheriff and pressing charges. The contractor said he yelled at him for a few hours on the phone because he was so furious. I said I hope I don't punch the kid in the face and Mike so go right ahead I'd be happy if you did.

Welp they came and apologized and gave me a card with a gift card in it and I was so unprepared I just said OK and next time you kids wanna decorate draw something else....FUCK! I fail.

I don't think you failed at all - once someone sincerely apologizes yelling at them really won't serve any purpose - the fact you were nice will stick in his mind more than anything else and probably stop him from doing it in the future - he'll feel even more guilty.

It's hard to yell at some one that looks like they are 18 and just out of high school. Been there and I know how stupid you can be at that age. Although the card they gave me had some misspelled words and I should have smacked them for that. Just cuz.

HI! Been reminiscing about EQ and feeling some nostalgia so I figured I'd make my periodical visit to TAC.

Anybody wanna play EQ on a private server with me? I'm really feeling like playing it a bit, but not sure if playing on a private server solo will really give me the experience I'm looking for.

After disappearing this weekend to visit the parental units, my computer booted up with a message telling me that my Win7 Ultimate beta was going to expire in 7 days. No biggie, bought the upgrade months ago, just too lazy to do it. I pop in the disk and get told that my upgrade disk was for Win7 Home Premium, not the beta version of Ultimate that I have, so I'd have to do a clean install. I called my father.

I pose the question to him, waiting for his response.
'Oh...yeah.'
(rolls eyes)

So I back up everything, except for of course my fonts DAMNIT!, and do a clean install. I am happy to report that it was smooth as buttah! Everything is already reinstalled, Poser8 works fine, got my Photoshop, WoW, and files all secured.

I do play WoW, I play an 80 rogue and 80 pally on Twisting Nether with some RL friends. Been playing since the start of 2008. We just killed Sindragosa last thursday and are working on the Lich King now, but I get bored outside of raid time and was thinking a little EQ might keep me busy, I've been resorting to WC3 lately.

I wish I had windows 7, I'm playing on a laptop I bought march of 2007 and its really getting to be a pain in the ass to raid on. I'm planning on going into the Navy Nuke field, if they'll ever give me a damn date to swear in and go to bootcamp, and I'm gonna buy one when I get to nuke school.

My girlfriend and I have been living together for the past year. We found out about a month ago she's pregnant, and she's due 9/11! I've been working on getting into the Navy for the nuke program (scored a 99 on the ASVAB) for a couple months now, waiting on some waivers, so we're planning on getting married before I go to boot camp so she can get the health insurance.

spent most of 2/17 in the hospital cause I couldn't swallow a bite of my burrito :/

Guess I have a 'stricture' or some such, my esophagus is deformed. Have to go to a gastroenterologist tuesday to get evaluated. If i'm lucky all they'll do is put a scope down me and then stretch out my esophagus. worst case scenario I have to get stints put in - and if I leave this untreated and get food stuck in my esophagus too much i'll get esophageal cancer.

im gonna get conscious sedation - i'm already in a panic by those words :/ Last anesthetic experience left me shaken for a couple months. I'm not supposed to remember it but I sure hope they give me a valium ahead of time or I'm gonna be a basket case.
