Say Anything.

'Say Anything' is a John Cusak/Cameron Crowe 1989 teen flick. ' A noble underachiever and a beautiful valedictorian fall in love the summer before she goes off to college.' This is actually not what this thread is about, but the message is the same.

Actually no it isn't, I just like imdb.com and the title sounded interesting. /snort

This is not necessarily a vent thread - far from it. This is about saying anything - weather, the bird outside your work window, the fundamental differences between Mormons and catholics, how Law and Order Criminal Intent doesn't get the props it deserves, that I always forget whether it's 'it's' or 'its', that my daughter has a beautiful smile and the first guy that breaks her heart - I'm breaking his knees...it's about anything.

So, say anything.

Kudos to the sun! I missed you! Two weeks of pouring down rain and it was 65 yesterday. I drove with my sunroof open. The wind blowing in my hair. It was gorgeous. Now, dear sun, I implore you. Stay and prove the weathermen wrong. We really don't need snow, I promise you.

I'm not cake expert, but my mom and sister both make cakes for weddings - I have to say that is one impressive cake.

Beautiful Cake nianya! Have you ever been to cakecentral.com ? I warn you, once you start going there it becomes addicting. Or www.cakewrecks.com (your cakes nto a wreck but if you decorate cakes you'll find it funny, well you will even if you dont)

I wish I could lay down without going into a coughing fit.

ITs gonna be a gorgeous 65 degrees this afternoon.. my apple tree is almost ready to sprout leaves, and my roses and my blackberry.. my bulbs are starting to poke from the ground...

Tomorrow we are supposed to get 2-4 inches of snow, and sunday too.. I am so sick of winter.. :(

OMG that cake is HUGE! It is awfully pretty, too, great job!

Dia, I hope your cough ends soon, I had the flu in February (worst flu ever) and was coughing for a month, today was the first day with no coughing fits.

My mom was 'mom' to almost all my friends, she loved it because she always wanted an army of kids. My best friend and I have known each other since we were 13, her husband we met when we were 15 and we're all 42 now. She and her husband call my father "Dad", because she is for all intents and purposes my foster sister and Dave's just like a typical son-in-law. Interestingly, my husband calls Dad by his first name, but that's because he's German and they're kind of freaky that way. I still call my ex-mother-in-law "Ma" which I've done since the day we met, but Marky's mother is "Andrea" and I feel privilidged that I don't have to call her "Frau Dochat".
Like Roz, I am still in the habit of referring to my elders as Mr. or Mrs. until the ask me to do otherwise. Growing up that habit ensured that my friends parents thought I was the most polite girl and such a good influence on their little demons. Had they only known...

I actually thought about going to one with Catherine, but David decided to hoark all over the jeep, his bed, and himself yesterday =/ I know we're hitting Walmart to buy the dvd for her today though. I'm about halfway through the book and OMG they changed so much in the movie =x
Faeini 16 years ago
they did but they kept more to the book in this movie then they did with the first.
ROzbeans 16 years ago
Yeah I definitely preferred the book to Twilight =x I don't know, they changed a lot between Jacob and Bella though - like how certain things happened. Again, prefer the book to the movie.

hehe woke to about 2 inches this morning and looking to get a few more throughout the day. Itll get warmer this week at least, but Im just hoping it doesnt kill any of my trees or flowers. :(
Faeini 16 years ago
hehe yea i'll always like the book over the movie , think the problem is in the book you hear every thought bella has and in the movie they really cant do alot about it >.<
ROzbeans 16 years ago
Honestly, RPatt isn't Edward to me. He's too...I don't know, he looks friggin constipated in the movies. In the book he seems way more believably tormented/in love/hardened. KS has Bella dead on, I think, right down to the klutziness, but Taylor Lautner is not 6'7, last time I checked. O_O
Nianya 16 years ago
So let me get this right... I haven't read any of the books... Jacob in the books is suppose to be a 6'7 ...Native American? I guess that baffles me.. all the Native Americans I know (from several tribes) are short. LOL I guess they just grow'em tall up in the north. ROFL

it all has to do with the main plot, You'd have to read it.
