Say Anything.
'Say Anything' is a John Cusak/Cameron Crowe 1989 teen flick. ' A noble underachiever and a beautiful valedictorian fall in love the summer before she goes off to college.' This is actually not what this thread is about, but the message is the same.
Actually no it isn't, I just like imdb.com and the title sounded interesting. /snort
This is not necessarily a vent thread - far from it. This is about saying anything - weather, the bird outside your work window, the fundamental differences between Mormons and catholics, how Law and Order Criminal Intent doesn't get the props it deserves, that I always forget whether it's 'it's' or 'its', that my daughter has a beautiful smile and the first guy that breaks her heart - I'm breaking his knees...it's about anything.
So, say anything.
btw whats up with the new banner...Coming soon? HINT!!!

My parents used to lock my ass outside for a certain amount of hours they deemed were enough time spent outside playing. He does have a cousin who is the same age as him and now that its warmer i'll havta get them together more for playing. Tho he tried to play Mario with her and she didnt understand so he got bent out of shape. /rolls eyes. Did I mention he's not even 4 yet? When his future stepsiblings are over he tries to play with them but the boy is 6 years older than him and rarely wants to play and the girl wont let him play with girl toys. I've instilled group punishments to get away with tattle tailing recently and it seems to be working. If one of you makes it up the stairs to tell then everyones getting time outs/toys taken/ect. I feel like Im on to something with this tactic.
Ive never had it colored before, so Im a little nervous about it, especially since itll be so different than my natural color, but Ive always wanted to try it. With the cut and relax it feels like Im wearing someone else's ( non frizzy) hair, I love it.
So last night around 6ish one of my dogs, the toy poodle I got a couple months ago, started acting wierd. She'd fall over, couldn't stand up, acted a little confused... she looked like she was drunk. Then a couple hours later... it happened again. Ok wtf... maybe she has low blood sugar (small tiny dog..it happens) so I gave her some honey. Around 10pm she started acted all weird again. So my mind jumps to possible seizures, toxins, etc. She was acting way to "off" mentally as well so I took her to the ER at Texas A&M vet school.
Her sodium levers were scary low (Drs words) but everything else was fine. No toxins she could have gotten into (tests confired that too). Little dehydrated. Drs are a little confused why the sodium levels were so low. Anyway they kept her overnight to watch her, give her fluid therapy to help increase her sodium levels. They started going on about getting an MRI done on her and checking spinal fluid... for only $3500+ (thats hospitalizaton until Monday, more blood work tests, mri, and other shit). Umm OUCH. I guess it doesn't help that this is Texas A&M vet school. Well known for their treatment and speciality in animal medicine... but still.... I love my dogs but holy FUCK! I had to go the cheaper route.., 1 night observation/hospital stay, bloodwork, urinalysis, and then follow up with a regular vet this week.
Vet called this morning. Raine didn't have any 'episodes' last night while there. Figures. Her sodium levels were getting better. They wanna run a few more test to check stuff like liver, kidney, adrenal glands. They said her mental status is still a little off and she still walking a little funn, but nothing like last night. I guess thats a good sign.
First, Erik forgot it was Mother's Day so I had to get up at 6:30 with the baby. Then he flooded the basement trying to help do the laundry. Oh well at least Kami picked me some flowers :)
Other than that, I had a good Mothers Day yesterday.
