I hit a moms car dropping Joe off at nursery school yesterday. theres a circle drive and you park on the right and pass on the left, I was busy making sure our sideview mirros didn't high five when the side of my town & country hit her wheel well and dragged along the side of my van. Thankfully she was super cool about it and on her Outlook (which has those big bumped out wheel wells) it's only a small spot of paint. My van has a dent down the whole side of it. *sigh* I need a smart car i swear i couldnt hit anything in that!

Ohh grats! We've rented the 300's before, if David had to downsize to a car from his Explorer that is what he would choose.

We have a rental for a week since the sebring is like a death trap on wheels and not safe to drive. This rental is a uh Chevy Cobalt I think. It has no get up and go to it at all. Very disappointing. LOL I guess all will be ok come tomorrow. 18hrs and counting and I will be driving my mustang.. but who's counting. :p

I felt especially happy and in a good mood all day today. Even felt a little girly which rarely happens and went and got my nails done. Nice pretty french solar nails all shiny. My daughter went with me and she got her first ever pedicure. Oh man..the color of polish she picked out would blind you. Its this bright neon orange. LOL

Oh and Where the hell is my package! UPS site said it was out on delivery at 6am. I want my steam mop!

Well.. hubby, me and the kids drove to Corpus Christi yesterday. 4 long ass hour drive. LOL But we looked at the mustang and oh baby, I had to have it. It's now sitting in my garage. :weee It a LOT of car. It was built for racing, not for daily driving. They rearrange the gear shift and its not right between the seats instead of its original place closer to the dash. Oh and its a slap shift. When I was told that, I was like WTF is a slap shift.. hubby had to explain it to me. ROFL Well shit.. I never learned to drive stick at all, but I can do automatic...and now I have to learn to drive a slap shift. :rolleyes: Oh well.. this car is so fucking worth it. I couldn't drive it home. Hubby wouldn't let me. LOL Like I said, it was built for racing and hubby thinks its too much car for me right now. Pfft! The damn thing doesn't even have a speedometer! Only a tachometer. Yeah, we're gonna have to do a little modifications to make it back to a daily driver.

Oh for those who know about cars and shit.. here's the info.. maybe you can tell me what all this shit means. :confused: LOL
Has a 1990 Mustang GT 302 roller motor in it. Has Steel crank, GT40 Heads, Air Gap intake, Holley Carb, Headers, Mallory Ignition, Aluminum Radiator, Setup with serpentine belt, flowmaster dual exhaust. Setup for nitrous, has the plate, and solenoids. Has a trans cooler. Floors are all solid, and has a new Gas tank. New Brakes, master cylinder, lines and hoses. Interior still needs some work. Has aftermarket gauges and B&M shifter, as well as high back bucket seats.

If you don't know how to drive a stick, driving it home would have been impossible. Grats on the hoopty!

Yeah, I'm gonna have to learn to listen to the engine and when to hit the slapstick. Fun fun! lol Its like a stick but with no clutch.. this is gonna be .. interesting.

I have no idea what a slap shift is, but it sounds hella fun.

Slap shift aka Ratchet .. you have to shift it up through the gears by simply "slapping" the shifter. No clutch to press when shifting. The one I got is this one..

Found a quote on the wb that explains wtf a slap shift is cause I can't explain it well .LOL

The Wikipedia entry was pretty informative. It sounds easy (and sadly, less fun than I had imagined)... way easier than a normal stick shift. No clutch! Cake.

Stick > all as far as I'm concerned (and I am a girl, honest!). I learned to drive a stick shift, and I just feel you have a lot more control than with an automatic. At the moment I am using Guy's truck and it's an automatic. The only thing it doesn't do for me is steer o.O Like seriously, if Maddy (age 8) could reach the pedals, she could drive that truck!

Today is going to be a fun one. We're heading out to New Braunsfel Tx and gonna go tubing down the river! Yeah baby...4 hours of floating down a river.. can we say sun burn? LOL

They make spf 100 now. We buy the 85 strength for my white boy husband. =D

Roz, yeah we stopped at walmart and bought some coppertone sport spf 100+. No bad burns today. We're pinkish, but nothing bad. Also bought a waterproof disposable camera. Gotta get it developed and post some pics...maybe. Depends how craptastic I look in them. ROFL

Laschae..well ya hold it the whole trip, or get out at a campground along the river, or go in the river. LOL You can go down the river from anywhere from a 1hr trip to 6 or 8 hrs floating down river. We took the middle option and only did the 4hr. Should've done 2hrs...because that water was ICE FUCKING COLD and it was windy as hell.

Today was a blast. My kids loved it. My son I think had the most fun. My daughter was a little on the pissy side at first because (1) the water was fucking cold (2) its river water and grossed her out. after a little bit though, she got into it and now they both want to go back and do it again.

You know what, fuck people and their self esteem issues. The girl who was my best friend in elementary school is beautiful, perfectly preportioned and slim, but not skinny. She keeps going on about how fat she is, how she needs to lose 20lbs etc. So if she, and others like her, see themselves as fat, they must think I am obese?! And then they'll turn to me and say no, there's nothing wrong with you, you are fine as you are. So they are either lying to me, or lying to themselves and I can't decide which is worse lol. Either that or they have some fucked up mirrors around them!

And people say I have low self esteem sheesh.
