Laschae springs a bean!

Braxton Hicks ftl :( They started last night off and on and kept waking me up >< Not that they're terrible painful just annoying! I never had any of this with Kami or CeCe =\ I dunno if I can go 27 more weeks :(

I used pacifiers on all of my kids, I figured you could take away a pacifier when the time came, but theyve got their thumb forever. They all ended up not using their pacifiers on their own by 10 months anyhow so it never became a problem :)

We're trying not to do a binky. Catherine was attached to hers for 3 years O_o and her grill will be needing braces for sure =/

I put off everything. I just went and got the paper work for insurance today and if they won't take me we have to put down 1k at this doctor for him to see me. So when taxes come in we're making an appointment and hopefully can schedule the ultrasound then. I tried to tell Erik that all the doctors would be backed up 3-4 weeks before you could get in but he has been busy tearing down walls in our house.

We went and bought a few unisex onesies and receiving blankets. And a super soft blankie! Erik told me today he wants a girl(he's really getting into it). CeCe wants a girl and Kami wants a boy. We just told them a few days ago and they haven't shut up about the baby since then so I'm glad they're excited.

I tried to give Kami a pacifier but she wasn't interested and never bothered trying with CeCe. If it seems like this one is extra sucky I would buy it one. We looked at cribs but I really don't know what I like best. I was leaning toward a white one but Erik liked a cherry colored one. I think this would be easier if I knew what was growing in there.

Trust me when I know what we're having everyone will know. Then I will be bugging you all for name ideas!!

I got one of those baby listening devices from Walmart for $20 and heard the baby's heart beat :D I can't wait for these stupid insurance papers to be accepted or not to hear it. Erik kind of freaked out when he heard it lol.

I went on access for mine, it was really good health care and free ( cause we were pretty poor) and i still got to use my regular doctor, you might look into what sort of state or federal support you can get for your pregnancy and baby, even if its only temporary itll help out tons.

Crimey I got the bill for having David - just seeing a civilian doctor cost 20k. O_o And that's in the last 3 1/2 weeks of my pregnancy. Thank god for military Tricare coverage.

I had state insurance in Oregon with the girls. I wish they had something out here like that. I got the papers from the department of family services but haven't sent them off. Gonna finish filling them out (forgot to bring SS cards and I don't know the kids numbers by heart) and ask Erik to drop them off at a regular post office box. I don't feel comfortable putting things with SS#s in my mail box lol. If they reject me (which they very well may) then we're gonna have to take out a loan to pay it off. One of Erik's work buddies wife just had a baby and set them back about 15k. Stupid Blue Cross/ Blue shield out here doesn't cover maternity related stuff at all.

:woot Thanks Roz! Now I can get some serious shopping done! They changed my due date from when I thought it would be because he's looking bigger. Erik's still in shock and isn't talking much to me.

:vibes Thanks guys. I went and bought him a few more outfits and Kami and CeCe helped pick them out so they felt more part of it I hope. So he is now due June 17th but I didn't get a chance to discuss when the c-section will be with the doctor. I have the glucose (yuuck) test next week and then another ultrasound in 2 weeks to check out the rest of his anatomy.

:yay Now we just have to come up with a good name which is harder than I ever imagined. Also, has anyone used one of these sling things like this : http://www.target.com/Hotslings-Baby-Carrier-Renaissance/dp/B000Y1A014/qid=1207142055/ref=br_1_5/601-7536944-6032128?ie=UTF8&node=352565011&frombrowse=1&pricerange=&index=tgt-mf-mv&field-browse=352565011&rank=pmrank&rh=&page=2
I didn't have one for CeCe and Kami so I don't know if they are good for using while shopping or small outings? I had one of the ones you wear on the front and after 20 minutes my back was killing me. Maybe I just need to teach Erik how to do the grocery shopping.

I don't have a sling, but a Moby wrap. It's helped on Alison's SUPER clingy days.

One thing that helped me during the glucose test was to take a bottle of water to sip on after drinking that nasty thing.

Yea I already was planning on some water and maybe an orange or something to get the taste out of my mouth. I was just looking at the pictures the doctor gave us and he took like 3 pictures of the babies boy parts. Kind of weird to be looking at them lol. I'm so glad the doctor's not an ass I was so worried about that.

I hope the size is ok I wasn't sure. That's his head from the top and the front side. You can make out an eye and tell he has a big ol peanut shaped head like his daddy!
