Re: Keriath - My personal opinion is that he's a townie, and just doesn't feel like playing since he made such an awesome character (come on... he's there to rob the bank ffs... I wish I'd thought of it first) and wanted to play a role with more power instead of one of the helpless masses.

Either that, or he's the SK/Mafia trying to throw us off with a throwaway vote, since his real power comes from his ability to hit/murder...

Ok didn't get that email. It was important because if Boris was mafia the other mafia might have discussed at what point he would have been autokilled - I thought it might have been a slip up since I couldn't find the 3 day rule. Good to know or it would have blown up a thought of mine - I'm eating crow on Nichole being mafia after doing extensive research. More later - Krista is making me watch Twilight (jacob is way cooler than that pussy Edward)

BATTLE PLAN PLEASE READ

Ok my thoughts so far, but I'll need another round or so to make certain. We need to kill: Vudu/Kris, Myraan, SnowDragon/Nadiya, The prof, and possibly Boris - I think Ernest is suspect.

My thoughts. I haven't had time to hit the certainty I'd like, but I'm just not going to have that time.

Vudu/Kris: The quietly watches and speaks little - that is exactly what the first killer did, and there were lines about spoken words condemning you. He specifically mentions noticing the agents gun in his bio, but that was used in the last kill. Why? Tons of people have guns so why would the mafia need that one (the only other option is none of the mafia are gun totters). Oh, and as Verileah pointed out there were two references to "simple things" in the first kill - another huge clue for Vudu. Vudu voted for Nichole, and then Ruth <---checks out (There are clues for nichole, but I reread every OOC post and her reactions/finger pointing/voting patterns don't match up with other suspected mafia - she heavily points at some of them).

SnowDragon/Nadiya: Diamond studs could be crystals, but the big clue is dancing. The main killer in kill two stepped towards the victim and the victim stepped back to match - that is dancing. Further she not only has music as a HUGE theme, but it's classical music - similar to what you might hear in an elevator. Number 12 and french book (with the bidet) are stetches, but more fuel for the fire. Her OOC reactions match with her being mafia - albiet a bit clever in some respects to lend doubt. She voted for Olivia and then Ruth - that matches perfectly for a mafia voting pattern.

Myraan: I've been thrown by that first botched lynch - it made me think she had to be a townie, but there are TONS of clues pointing at her. SHe's small, constantly twitching (which has bee mentioned several times), she has a a compact mirror - reflections were used in the first 2 mafia kills, business card for a psychiatrist matches the crazy motif, everything in her purse is in its proper place which matches the cleanliness/OCD theme (and matches it more specifically than mine - not that it matters), starving artist college student - matches the food references, and the creativity references. I could go on and on. Her OOC responses sort of match up with what I expect from a mafia - not all of them - and some of her finger pointing has been suspect. She voted for Olivia, and then didn't vote. I think this matches just fine.

The professor: I can't help but the think the extinction and animal planet things were just too big to pass up. it's the prof or Gongaa. Gongaa has twice had the change to change the course of history with his vote, and passed it up. In vote one he went a different direction voting for Ernest early on - and if Myraan is mafia then his vote would have been important. I guess the same case can be said about vudu, but if it happened once they could just have been keeping count waiting on a last minute edit/save. In round 2 gongaa's ass was on the line and he didn't vote (said he was tired). He hasn't really finger pointed as much as known townies or defended mafia in weird ways so I'm leaning towards it being the prof. Or Gongaa is playing me.

Boris: We all know the clues here - he's back - kill him eventually, but lets wait and see how he shakes out. Since we're pretty convinced here there isn't a rush.

We haven't figured out the cocaine dealer. Greywood seems obvious to me, but the rest doesn't seem to match up for him - possibly another?

Ok so what do we do. Obviously I'm not going to have the list exactly right this early (hopefully it's mostly right!). It concerns me that Vudu and Myraan may not both be mafia, and maybe they're playing a good game together. I think we kill vudu and nadiya first, and then reconsider Myraan based on what happens.

So kill order should be:

1) Nadiya (I'm most sure about her)
2) Vudu
3) Reconsider at that juncture and debate between most likely Myraan and Boris, or go with the prof or Gongaa based on new evidence if we are still unsure on Myraan
4) Finish up the Myraan/Boris/Animalfucker triangle
5) Find the cocaine dealer and call the game a wrap

Again - I'm probably wrong about something and we'll have to adjust on the fly, but I think it's a solid starting place and better then just goign with our collective guts every week - a gut that the mafia influences.

The SK dead works to our advantage.

SO HOW DO WE DO THIS?

FIRST: I need the DOCTOR to save me 2 of the next 3 days. I've just painted a huge bullseye on my back. Don't tell ANYONE that you're doing it. Don't reveal which two of those three days you're going to do it. Don't say anything about this at all - just skid me safe 2 of the next days - and probably captainbinky the other of those 3 until we figure out who the sheriff is. Then save Captain Binky and yourself on the 4th and 5th days again - at your own order.

SECOND: Sheriff - Can you start ID'ing our list? Start at the top and pick one we aren't lynching.

THIRD: We need a safe goat - I Nominate CaptainBinky because of all the bios his is the only one with relatively no to few clues. He has a slight animal tie in, but we've seen nothing about writing, typing, elephants, peanuts, string etc that would point at him.

So the sheriff can PM CaptainBinky (or me if you're more comfortable with that, but no one trusts me and I'm ok with that - you fuckers - doing it through me would make it less possible for the mafia to kill us with the docs help, but it works with Binky) - then Binky reveals mafia/not mafia publically.

Why it works:

If the mafia thinks the Doc is saving me 2 of the next 3 days they have to make a huge gamble to kill me. That keeps me alive, possibly wastes their skid, or at the least limits their options which is a win for us. With Binky being saved the other day - and in fact I would even say the doc can choose 2 of binky and 2 for me of the next 4 days - do whatever you want because just by posting this the mafia will have to choose to waste skids on me and binky. That gives us two safe jumping off points - I can refine the current list.

Also - The mafia could alternately decide to publically throw doubt at me, and NOT kill me to make it look like I was wrong - this way they can't use that as an excuse - teehee

CaptainBinky - if you get more than one PM from people claiming to be the sheriff talk to me - that would be their obvious ploy, but also it will paint a picture and limit our choices of who we need to kill. Having said that it will now be risky for them to try it.

Lets see: If I die anyway just carry on the plan if it's working. If you can't tell after one stick to it - if after 2 or 3 it seems like we're way off - then I was wrong I guess. I don't think I'm that far off though.

Ok I'm off to an arts festival - be back later. Lets decide between vudu and nadiya, but I vote nadiya first.

Wow, Vulash has done a ton of data-crunching! Do the other vets here think he's on the right track, or do you have your own lists? I need a bandwagon to follow!

I don't think that I could attack you anyway. Our bios are so similar that clues against you could easily be applied to me -- balding pen-carriers unite!

first off, I didn't vote the second time, as explained, because my net was down. I posted who I was going to have voted for so everyone would be aware. Didn't count, wouldn't have changed the outcome, but I had planned to vote for the Professor. Ooc comments? *shrugs* You can take whatever you want from them. Yes, things obviously match my character, but the same could be said for your own, and Greywood, and a few others. So, since I apparently like to point fingers, just remember :) for every finger you point, you've got three more pointing back at you :P

You seem oftly big out to save your own skin, that in itself is rather glaring. You've devised this great big plan about why everyone else is guilty, even going to the lengths of trying to convince the dr to save you two days, the sheriff to start IDing people, everyone to follow your lead. Hm... why should they? What are YOU trying to hide? ;)

I keep rereading peoples bios, and the hit, and this one is not as easy for me to pull apart and get a clear mindset on exactly who I think is part of it all, however, I think I have an inkling. Someone who doesn't stand out, but really should given the fact that he apparently smells horrid, and that is Kal Mando. He could have easy access to drugs, though being homeless and given the amount of money on him, he wouldn't necessarily be buying them. The change actually is what got my attention. two 3's. 3 dimes 3 pennies, 33 cents of his 58. He is also carrying a knife. Granted, several others are, but that could have been the knife that eviscerated Vivian. He was an elite special forces trained man, became numb to the things he had to do, and now his past is coming back to haunt him for what he did. Very interesting given what's happened. Could just anyone cut open and basically gut a woman without flinching? Kal Mando probably could. Atrocities of war happen on both sides, who knows what all he's done in his past. Perhaps his past coming back to haunt him is him being called up to do this work now? Anyway, that's something that really struck me from this time of rereading bios.

Best thing I can think to do is to go through the accusations Vulash raises and see how the evidence racks up. If those people turn out to be our best bets for mafia based on the clues so far then it would lend credibility to the general idea. Obv I'm slightly biased because he says that I'm a "safe goat". Hooray for goats!

Care to share your logic? As I saw it there were lots of good reasons to vote for Ruth as SK and not a great deal to incriminate Mr Smith.

My initial reaction to this was "wtf?" but after thinking about it, she may be right. I didn't see any clues pointing towards Smith as the SK, whereas I did see a bunch pointing at Ruth, but it *IS* certainly possible. The SK is clearly dead. The question is which one of the two was the SK? The SK lynch had several clues that have only appeared in Mafia hits so far. Why?

I'm not sure that it even matters who was the SK, but maybe Vulash will have some way of interpreting the voting results if it turns out that Smith was the SK instead of Ruth. I'm still not sure why he suspects people who voted for Ruth; the clues were pretty blatant, and killing the SK ASAP still sounds like a great idea to me as a Townie (although Spirtis' idea of letting the SK live to hopefully kill some Mafia does have merit, that's more brave than I wish to be). But obviously he thinks voting for Ruth was meaningful in some way other than self-preservation, so... I don't know? I don't understand how his psychological evaluation of the voting works.

I think Vulash's "battle plan" is a stroke of motherfucking genius. I think it will work. BUT! It does have some holes - pretty big ones.

1.) Capt. Binkster might be Mafia
2.) Vulash might be Mafia
3.) Multiple "Sheriffs" could PM Binky (I suppose Vulash has a plan in place for this, though. Anyone PMing Binky takes a HUGE risk, even if they are innocent, especially if he gets more than one PM; instant Vulash-o-scope on them, and he's not ALWAYS right... just usually)
4.) The Sheriff might be dead
5.) The Doctor might be dead
6.) The Doctor or the Sheriff may not be interested in playing ball
7.) The Mafia might get lucky and kill Vulash or Binky on one of the days that the save isn't used on them

Still... stroke of genius. Very high potential.

During the Blade Runner game - I forget the specifics, but the general idea will suffice - we (the Mafia) made a deal with some Townies to vote for some innocent person, and see who jumped on the bandwagon, then change our votes at the last minute to see who else changed theirs. It was a good plan, if we had actually been Townies. Well, all 3 of us Mafia left our votes the way they were, and we ended up lynching an innocent person by like 1 vote. We all had excuses; my internet went down, I fell asleep, whatever... freakin' Jinheim had an AFK message up on AIM that said "AFK watching The Godfather". People fell for it, and they paid the price... IN BLOOD, MUHAHAHAHAHA!

Just sayin'.

Oh, and another possible hole in Vulash's plan:

8.) Vulash AND Binky might be Mafia, and this is just a ploy to figure out who the Sheriff and maybe even the Doctor are, while killing innocent Townies in the process

It was to lynch Geeii, who ended up being the doctor, who saved me when you fuckers tried to hit me...the serial killer. Pharren won by killing me in the last round - ONLY BECAUSE MAFIA HITS GO FIRST!
