Say Anything.

'Say Anything' is a John Cusak/Cameron Crowe 1989 teen flick. ' A noble underachiever and a beautiful valedictorian fall in love the summer before she goes off to college.' This is actually not what this thread is about, but the message is the same.

Actually no it isn't, I just like imdb.com and the title sounded interesting. /snort

This is not necessarily a vent thread - far from it. This is about saying anything - weather, the bird outside your work window, the fundamental differences between Mormons and catholics, how Law and Order Criminal Intent doesn't get the props it deserves, that I always forget whether it's 'it's' or 'its', that my daughter has a beautiful smile and the first guy that breaks her heart - I'm breaking his knees...it's about anything.

So, say anything.

if you buy gold they are.

Can't understand why people buy gold. It's not as if gold is as hard to make as plat was in EQ...
I lost a combined total of over 50k gold. I couldn't find anything to spend it on - I didn't want mammoths, and didn't need (though I was pondering building, sinc emy mage was an engineer) bikes...
Besides, with 4x80s, I could easily make over 1k/day via dailies, and I could make 10k/week in the auction house.

yeah its the same for any game though, if you buy gold from another company youre more likely to get hacked, it was that way in EQ too.

I never understood why anyone would buy plat in EQ. The last few years, it's easy as hell to get. I won't say how much I have but its a LOT.... didn't even have to farm crap either. Sucky part.. I have all this plat and nothing to spend it on except replacing augs. Maybe I should go make a new toon and twink it out just to spend it!

All this WoW hacking is starting to sound like a ploy to sell those authenticators.

I took a break right at the end of TBC and the newest and while I was gone my account was hacked and items were de'd/sold/removed whatever. My sister had it happen last year on her Birthday of all days, they got it one day, she reported it, they sent the items back and they did it AGAIN, she had her account inactive basically for her whole thanksgiving break.

We have never bought gold or even thought about it, I can hardly afford it. I know I always used to say it happens to people that bought gold, but it's just not the case anymore. I know you can never tell for sure, but a few older couples in our guild have had it happen over the past few months.

My sister, my hubby and my accounts are all with the authenticator now. I'd rather not have my toons entire bank of saved armor, special things be removed again. That was terrible to come back to see it was all missing.

lol they arent expensive or anything Nikki, and while its a pain if you arent near it when you need it ( My son had to call me every night from phoenix so he could log in over his winter break) its worth not having your stuff stolen or deleted.

Well it worked, as I ordered one yesterday. I have such a minute amount of stuff compared to Mike, and haven't been playing nearly as long, or ardently, but I know I'd feel awful if I lost my 80 Gnome Rogue. For $6.50 its well worth it to me to add further security. I just hope I get it soon!

Got a link to where to buy it?

oh OF COURSE. It's a conspiracy. THEY ARE HACKING INTO YOUR ACCOUNTS! I knew it.

If WoW could hold my attention for more than a month at a time it might be worth it sounds like.

Typing with gloves on is hard lol. Boiler is broken waiting on repair man to get here hoping the coal stove is enough to keep my pipes from freezing in the meantime.

David had to wrap our pipes under our sink with insulation and foam to keep them from freezing. but if you leave the water dripping that should help?

Make yourself some hot cocoa and just hold the cup hehe, good luck getting the heat working again!

The Blizzard Authenticator is free if you download the cell phone app..

The first time I bought online currency was during PoP; I bought 300k plat one day when I was drunk so I could finish my Aid Grimel (I think that was the name) earring. After that, I never had a problem making plat... although I did have to buy some to finish my tradeskills when I came back during that one expansion with Ashengate and Frostcrypt... and then I started buying it just to give it away, spend on frivolous things, and because I liked to see millions of plat in my bank.

I farmed the 1000g for my first epic mount in WoW at level 60, and then with all the farming of shadow resist potions and shit for Loatheb in Naxx 1.0, I said F THIS and now I buy it all the time. I can't stand doing dailys, or farming. When I get home from work, the last thing I want to do is more work. Been playing these damn games for 459849325 years it feels like; I've done all the farming I care to do.

My bathroom pipes froze the other day, I wasn't paying attention to the temp so I couldn't let the sink drip. I went to give the little guy a bath and ended up spending an hour or so getting the damn things thawed out. lol Some day we will be able to get out of this pos house, I swear! rofl

Oh I love my house.. just hate the last 100 years worth of craptastic home maitenence thats been done to it.

I mean.. if they had just stuck insulation in when they took down the lathe and plaster and put up the drywall.. I prolly wouldnt even get frozen pipes in there.. right?
