'Say Anything' is a John Cusak/Cameron Crowe 1989 teen flick. ' A noble underachiever and a beautiful valedictorian fall in love the summer before she goes off to college.' This is actually not what this thread is about, but the message is the same.

Actually no it isn't, I just like imdb.com and the title sounded interesting. /snort

This is not necessarily a vent thread - far from it. This is about saying anything - weather, the bird outside your work window, the fundamental differences between Mormons and catholics, how Law and Order Criminal Intent doesn't get the props it deserves, that I always forget whether it's 'it's' or 'its', that my daughter has a beautiful smile and the first guy that breaks her heart - I'm breaking his knees...it's about anything.

So, say anything.

I got a gig with a baby RPG publisher!

Seven quarter-page black and white creature illustrations for $20 each....Not a great deal of money, but I could knock those out in two lazy days or one incredibly insane day. This is my first experience doing a job for a publisher, and I'm so excited!

On the weather note, my old home back in the UK is apparently under a foot of snow. While that in itself is remarkable enough in my own memory, its been cold and snowy for over 3 weeks now, which I don't remember ever happening! It snows, and by next day its gone normally, not this laying for 3 weeks business. WTF is with the weather this winter?!

Personally though, I blame Canada.. darn their arctic systems!

We got 6 inches yesterday.. in the three years or so Ive been here i dont remember getting that much in so short a time frame, and its been horribly cold the last couple of weeks.

We got snow.. but itll be too cold to go play in til Sunday or Monday. Its so pretty too, but theyre giving dire warnings of frostbite and hypothermia if out for more than a few minutes. :(

It is SO cold here it was -40 the other day and since Erik works outdoors he hasn't worked but 5 days out of the last 2 weeks :( Dunno wher ethe mortgage money will come from. Still remodeling (bathroom downstairs this time) and they moved our furnace, left us without heat for about 36 hours. Which caused the pipes in the girls room to freeze and burst. Kind of scary too...I was doing the dishes and Erik was putzing around on WoW and we heard this WOOSH sounds come out of their room and he runs in there and then runs down the stairs and I was like what what's wrong? He just keeps running. So I go in there room and it's filled with steam. He runs back up here and I told him to gtfo and call the fuckers that ruined our heat system. So they fixed it today but I feel really unsafe :( Assholes.

I never took pictures of the bathrooms before they remodeled. They still have not finished 100% the one upstairs but it's close. They have to fix a sink and paint the trim and all that little details that are driving me nutty and I will probably end up doing myself. So my son has some extra Christmas money left.. so we ended up at Toys R Us the other night. He bought himself one of those SeaMonkey kits. He keeps checking on them every 5 minutes to see if he can see them yet. LOL

We keep trying, but he doesn't seem to want to do it more than a day or so. His not speaking at all doesn't help with it either.
