yeah, I haven't had any trouble with my Kindle.

Just saw on facebook that a buddy from high school, hell I've known him since the 7th grade, just died. What the hell, we're too young for this =/

My best girlfriend from high school died in November.. I married her brother...(david) so she was my sister too.

She had just had her first baby and it was a high risk pregnancy, which went fine.. the baby was born healthy and beautiful. Lynnie died ten days later when a blood clot went to her heart. The doctor said it happens all the time... WTF? She was 31, 6 months younger than me. Thats her with the horns in my avatar hehe.

I have the K2 and have not really had any problems. Only problem I did have was the power cord not working properly a few months back, and I called and they replaced the whole device within like 2 days, with all my stuff transferred to it already. I didn't have to send the old one back until the new one got to me even.

I haven't had any problems with not being able to see it in sunlight or any of that either. The only thing I like about the Nook over the Kindle is that you can share books with other Nook users for a limited amount of time, sort of like being able to lend out your paper books to a friend. But since none of my book reading friends have a Nook, that feature seemed pointless to me and I got the Kindle. My brother has been talking about getting a Kindle too, and if he does he plans on just using my Amazon account to get it so we can share books hehe.

Just finished Changes. It was good.... I'll have to reread it when Erik gets done with it.

I read Turn Coat yesterday/this morning finally. Hubby will likely steal Changes when he goes on grave shift tomorrow. Will only take him a couple nights at work tho then I'll have it :D

I thought I found the necklace I was waiting for to go with my wedding dress but when i put it on with the dress its too much. =( *sigh* The search continues. Anyone know of a place that has good green necklaces? Peridot green rather than emerald?

also, i need something to read thats deeper than this YA fairy series I started.

The cat had kittens in the middle of the night in the girls closet. I can't see if there are 3 or 4 kitten in there she is keeping them under her. I think 4...hard to tell. She won't let me come close enough and I figure she's probably exhausted so I will do a head count later. Damn who knew kittens cried that much right away! There was a chorus of squeels while I was in there trying to pull clothes out of the way so they would have a space to relax.

I love that second link! My dress is greek looking, go figure right? I only happen to play me some greeks over on SA. But it's hard to find a necklace for it because it has some detail across the top that some necklaces look like ass against. My colors are Black White and Green Apple(lime whatever) hence why the green necklace.

In the middle of the night the cat had a 5th kitten and she came out and walked around a bit and got some extra love so I snuck in and took a picture of the kittens. I think we shall call them Murphy, Thomas, Molly, Harry and Barley (Kami wanted that one!) I think my neighbors might take one of them and I dunno about the rest. I doubt Erik would be convinced of having 5 cats in the house. Especially since the mama is a stray we just let hang around our house. Who knows! Here's some cuteness!

I like the grey and white one, but those tuxedo cats are always bad news healthwise. Prone to kidney infections and kidney stones and other fun kidney-related illnesses. Maybe it's not the same with the grey and white ones, but the black and white ones is definite.

AWWWW! I have 2 black and white cats and a grey tortise. the stupid rat dog who is smaller than the cats is black and white too. Theres a connection between fur color and kidneys?

An incidental one. The connection is between whatever genes the tuxedo cats carry and kidney problems. :P At least, that's what our vet told us after the 3rd one died. Certain breeds are more succeptable to kidney problems, too. Tuxedo cats aren't an actual breed, but, yeah.

Yeah the little tortoise shell looks like the mama cat. And we read that they are almost always girls so we are assuming she's a girl. I still can't believe she had one after 24 hours of giving birth to the first 4! He's a little tiny thing. Erik went in there to check on them about 30 minutes ago and didn't see the little one and said Erin I can only see 4!!! He was so worried but Piglet had the little guy tucked away. I haven't touched them yet but Erik tried to get the runty one over near a nipple earlier but the big fatty babies were in the way. I can't wait til they start playing. Both of the girls are gone at sleep overs tonight so Piglet and the babies get the room to themselves and I hope she gets some rest. She seems pretty good, no hard breathing, nothing weird going on. She is more affectionate right now than she's ever been. I'm sure she just needs to be reassured that she's a good mama. :D
