Say Anything.

'Say Anything' is a John Cusak/Cameron Crowe 1989 teen flick. ' A noble underachiever and a beautiful valedictorian fall in love the summer before she goes off to college.' This is actually not what this thread is about, but the message is the same.

Actually no it isn't, I just like imdb.com and the title sounded interesting. /snort

This is not necessarily a vent thread - far from it. This is about saying anything - weather, the bird outside your work window, the fundamental differences between Mormons and catholics, how Law and Order Criminal Intent doesn't get the props it deserves, that I always forget whether it's 'it's' or 'its', that my daughter has a beautiful smile and the first guy that breaks her heart - I'm breaking his knees...it's about anything.

So, say anything.

I've worked for many vets in several different states... I think I'm entitled to my original opinion that I feel 90% are idiots when it comes to canine and feline nutrition.

Damn we still can't get Butters to nurse :( Erik moved the fatties out of the way and put Butters right on the nipple and he just didn't have it in him to nurse :( We got kitten formula but he's too weak to drink the bottle. I don't know what else to do. Erik got the kitten to pee on him and he said it was dark yellow pee so he's getting dehydrated. I'm so frustrated.

I'm not a cat person either. I'm allergic but I wasn't going to let a homeless pregnant cat give birth in some bushes when it's been snowing. :( :(

Maybe take a syringe ( like the kind for giving medicine for babies) and force feed him?

- Id love to be mean to the ass, really, ( I never know what to say when Im upset). He actually got upset with me for telling him I wasnt going to accept his fr and acted like Im some jerk for it. I don't get it.

I was 13 when it happened and Im 32 now.. I managed to avoid him in high school.. so its been like 19 years since I talked to this guy. I dont have any clue what possessed him to look me up, Icant even remember most of my 7th and 8th grade friends full names ><

If the kitten won't nurse, call a vet and see if they can teach you to properly tube feed him (its what it sounds like - stick a small tube down kittens throat into its tummy). Using a syringe can work, but there is a higher risk of aspiration pneumonia especially for such young kittens. If the kitten feels cold, and can't keep warm, that will also weaken him and make him not interested in food. Oh yeah, you can google search for a recipe I like to use.. Kitten Glop. Sometimes they will eat that when they dont drink replacement milk.

My ex, the guy I dated right before Mike (I refer to him fondly as the village idiot) sent me a friend invite. This is the same guy who broke up with me, 15 years old, for a girl YOUNGER than me who went to another school. I happily dated my ex before him, and flaunted that as much as possible, before eventually dating Mike. I just ignored his invite and didn't even bother to ask him what the fuck he was thinking.

Yeah I'd say he's a lot like The Hollows actually, only magic isn't out in the open in his world. There are a few who know, but the general population isn't aware that there are wizards and vampires and fae running amok.

I love the Hollows series. I did not love Amazon being asshats about publishing and how all the Ebooks got held back unless you had a Kindle, so I bought it on Hardcover anyways.

I think Butters is dead. I went in there to check on him and he's cold and stiff and unresponsive. I dunno what to do.

I buried him in the back yard under our plum tree. I am so upset I wish Erik was here. We've all been pulling for the little guy but I guess somethings just aren't meant to be. :( :( :(

=/ That is too bad. I've never had to experience a pet dying. Well, Mike's hamster died while he was in boot camp, but I called his dad up from his shop to help me with that =x

I've never had a pet die on me either. I feel really bad that I couldn't keep him going. I don't know how to break it to the girls when they get home. This morning when they got up they were both worried about him.

I'm sorry Lasche. :( I learned long ago when I worked at the animal ER, that mother nature has her own plans and regardless how much we try to do to help, some things are just out of our hands.

I think the best way to break it to children is tell them the truth. Let them know that that little Butters was just too sick and mother nature thought it best he not stay on this earth. You could tell them they went to Rainbow Bridge, a place for animals in the clouds. Here's the poem. Maybe you could print it out and read it to the girls on Butters burial.. like a memorial service.

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.

There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.

There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.

Awww poor Butters.

The man is arguing with Comcast in the other room on the phone over money they owe us since we canceled their services. Sounds like they are saying we never canceled and they are keeping our 214$ for a month and a half. Comcast = money whores.
