This is not necessarily a vent thread - far from it. This is about saying anything - weather, the bird outside your work window, the fundamental differences between Mormons and catholics, how Law and Order Criminal Intent doesn't get the props it deserves, that I always forget whether it's 'it's' or 'its', that my daughter has a beautiful smile and the first guy that breaks her heart - I'm breaking his knees...it's about anything.

Grats on going to the Springs Roz! We still miss it and would move back in a heartbeat given the opportunity. There's just something about stepping outside and looking up at Pike's Peak.

You know the sad thing is? She's the nicest woman I have ever known or worked for. She went out of her way to a good friend as well as a fair boss when we worked together. Always stuck up for me and was always so encouraging. Never in a million years would I think she was THAT conservative, or really rude enough to be argumentative on the stuff I post to MY facebook page. I mean really, it is mine - I'll post whatever I want. It's bizarre to me how many of my friends have gone hardcore conservative to be so fucking stupid (god bless them) and they're entitled to their opinions, but I never go on their pages and say shit about their Fox Channel bullshit.
It's like I don't even know her anymore. She has like 4 adopted children from Haiti, so you know she's not racist. I don't know what the deal is =/

If I hadn't looked at her profile and seen that, it would have been my assumption, too. She TALKS like a racist. I guess she still could be. "Oh look at me, making such a sacrifice by raising these poor black children"...

Helped cleaned my mom's office yesterday and found an album stuffed with old photos of my grandparents. Lots of pics of my grandpa's WW2 navy days. Think I might just wear out the scanner today

Yeah this summer has been pretty brutal for out here, We usually only have a couple of weeks of really hot/humid weather here, but its been well over a month now and its not done yet. :(

we saw one of those iphone commercials where the chick gets her hair cut into a pixie style and my FI looks over at me and says "Don't even think about it"

Well my mother is the only one that freaks when I cut my hair, but she doesn't know yet.... lol. Haven't seen her in 2 years :(

nada! I had a pixie-ish cut when i was a teen. I dont think I could rock it now tho. I've got this stupid wavy thick hair that hates me, so I keep it long because thats actually less work than a shorter do.
