Say Anything.
'Say Anything' is a John Cusak/Cameron Crowe 1989 teen flick. ' A noble underachiever and a beautiful valedictorian fall in love the summer before she goes off to college.' This is actually not what this thread is about, but the message is the same.
Actually no it isn't, I just like imdb.com and the title sounded interesting. /snort
This is not necessarily a vent thread - far from it. This is about saying anything - weather, the bird outside your work window, the fundamental differences between Mormons and catholics, how Law and Order Criminal Intent doesn't get the props it deserves, that I always forget whether it's 'it's' or 'its', that my daughter has a beautiful smile and the first guy that breaks her heart - I'm breaking his knees...it's about anything.
So, say anything.
tl;dr - Toughbooks double as funny-shaped footballs for fun during downtimes
Might have to try contacting her via email or through her DA page if you cant get in on the site.
yikes! Thatll show you for wanting to buy their stuff ><

It's so.. random, too. Happen to have that email on hand, or her DA page? And Lil' is the one to talk to about that stuff?
Kidding aside - I like the Acer's I've priced, but since they don't sell their own I can't find a good place to customize one. I'm not opposed to Dell - they just seem a little pricier offhand.
Also, if you don't need to do anything more hardcore than emailing and typing shits up (though you tend to run some pretty rough simulations iirc?), you can't really beat their Eee PCs, which are also cheap as shittles, have an insane battery life, and are tiny.
Also, Asus hardware tends to run Linux really well, which is good for when you want to convince people you're a computer snob! (kekeke)
I've always used Asus notebooks and like them a lot. They've got some pretty good machines selling on newegg.com in the $500-$750 price range.

Yea I run some intense stuff at times, and I really have no way of knowing what/when those things will be - I'd rather be prepared.
I'll check out newegg - I forgot they sold laptops. I've always used them to build my PCs. I've read good things about Asus and Acer - I just haven't found a preconfigured one I like yet.
