Say Anything.

'Say Anything' is a John Cusak/Cameron Crowe 1989 teen flick. ' A noble underachiever and a beautiful valedictorian fall in love the summer before she goes off to college.' This is actually not what this thread is about, but the message is the same.

Actually no it isn't, I just like imdb.com and the title sounded interesting. /snort

This is not necessarily a vent thread - far from it. This is about saying anything - weather, the bird outside your work window, the fundamental differences between Mormons and catholics, how Law and Order Criminal Intent doesn't get the props it deserves, that I always forget whether it's 'it's' or 'its', that my daughter has a beautiful smile and the first guy that breaks her heart - I'm breaking his knees...it's about anything.

So, say anything.

James just lets loose all over the house. Sometimes he says he wants to go on the potty but most of the time he just plays or scoots the potty chair all over the room while making car noises. I figure he isn't ready yet.

My allergies are so bad right now I didn't even notice, I probably just rubbed my eye too much, but now it feels like I'm wearing a dirty contact or there's an eyelash in it. Made it really hard to sleep last night and its super annoying today. :(

Yeah we didn't bother with the potty chair. It was suppose to be one of those 3 step things but the opening was so damn small, so he never actually used it. We just sit him on the toilet and he holds on for dear life lol. Someone told me if you turn them around, that way they have something to hold onto, that it'll help training them. I didn't bother with that though.

I hate my PC. It crashed a while back... lost EVERYTHING. :censored I've been trying to get the motivation to reinstall EverQuest and all my art stuff but damn that is a lot of shit and time consuming. :(

I guess I'm going to have to splurge and get an external HD because so help me.. if I reinstall everything again and down the road this PC crashes again I will take a baseball bat and give this PC a piece of my mind. :omg:

I had that happen and had to reinstall all of Poser again, but what I did was only install what I needed, when I needed it. Otherwise it just gets too bloated and runs like shit anyway.

They have those little seats you set on top of the regular toilet so they don't fall in. We used those and a stool so they could get up or down without too much help.
Laschae 15 years ago
I'd get one of those but between James getting into EVERYTHING to the cats trying to drink out of the toilet it would be suck a clusterfuck. I just had Erik give James a bath and he screamed the whole time so I had to come in there and wash him while Erik held him still :( Only a few months back he loved bath time I don't know what changed.

maybe try letting him take a shower? Tristan liked them more than bath's for a long time. Or he could be like Dawson and would be perfectly happy if he went a year without a bath >< hehe

boys...

David tried drinking our dog's water. Twice. What is it with little boys??!

Oh lol James will lay down on his belly and eat out of the cats food bowl with them. Kids are silly! Yeah I dunno about the shower he doesn't like his face or head being wet. Last time I gave him a bath I had to just keep talking to him and telling him I was just going to wash him off and take him out of the tub. He was ok with it and let me clean him up but not his face or hair which was of course the dirtiest part of him.
Lessa 15 years ago
hmm, maybe if you got one of those detachable shower head things, so you can only spray certain parts of him? I used cups of water and just told the kids to tilt heir face back to rinse their hair, that way they don't get anything in their eyes. They also would hold a folded washcloth over their eyes just in case it misses. If you can get his hair washed you can just wipe his face with a washcloth, or even have him do it after the bath, it might not be so scary.

Oh another thing my kids liked was bath paint, its soap, but it comes in a can and they can paint the sides of the tub, or themselves with it, and there's foaming soap too, that they would make into mountains or boats or whatever, they couldn't wait to get in the bath when we had that stuff. Also crayola makes these bath dyes too that my kids loved, they're like those easter egg tablets, and they would mix different colors to see what color their bath would be... just so long as they don't put all three together to make brown.. lol

Left is first day of 4th grade. Right is first day of 5th grade (today). This is unacceptable =/

What's up, Jet?

I should take a picture of CeCe in her emo clothes from Hot Topic. I figure it's better for her to get this crap out of her system now then hate me when she's 30 for never being allowed to wear stupid crap. I got mommy issues.

I know Roz, Dawson started 5th grade the week before last, and my baby is in 3rd, ugh! Still looking for the rewind button...

Shooting yourself in the face is not permitted, sorry Jet.
What's the problem?

I posted this on facebook with the caption saying she'd beat up a cheerleader and stole her clothes...my sister was not amused. No she isn't a cheerleader she asked her best friend if she could try her outfit on.

Wow your girls are getting big, Laschae! What the hell happened to our little kiddos =/ And Hot Topic is a fav of Catherine's, too. O_O
