Say Anything.

'Say Anything' is a John Cusak/Cameron Crowe 1989 teen flick. ' A noble underachiever and a beautiful valedictorian fall in love the summer before she goes off to college.' This is actually not what this thread is about, but the message is the same.

Actually no it isn't, I just like imdb.com and the title sounded interesting. /snort

This is not necessarily a vent thread - far from it. This is about saying anything - weather, the bird outside your work window, the fundamental differences between Mormons and catholics, how Law and Order Criminal Intent doesn't get the props it deserves, that I always forget whether it's 'it's' or 'its', that my daughter has a beautiful smile and the first guy that breaks her heart - I'm breaking his knees...it's about anything.

So, say anything.

Ugh, that sucks =/ Why are they inducing her in the first place? Diabetic?
Laschae 15 years ago
Oh they induced me with CeCe and like 24 hours later it was going no where so I had a c-section lol. I hope things speed up for her :(
Lessa 15 years ago
I went into normal labor and after 28 hours of it ( and hardly any dialation) they wanted to talk about a c-section, since I had gone all that time after they had improperly done my epidural ( so it didn't work) I was not happy, luckily things decided to progress right after that and he was born after 30 hours without major surgery. ><

f that I dont handle pain well, i can't stop myself but I shut down. I close up shop and go away somewhere in my head. Hospital is where I needs to be! Last time I barely made a noise except to yell at the nurse to get the cath out of me. It was all thumbs up and middle fingers in the way of communication from me. Even that was hard to do! Scientology woulda been proud.

Kelefane I use crappy IE cuz im lazy, and I use Firefox because its required for school and one of the online classes I take. Im just to lazy to invest in a new browser and rebookmark and ect. I dont download on my computer, or play any games so I havent had any probs with IE.

I'm totally going to slowly warp my future stepdaughter into a more hot topicy direction. Right now she's all pink and bows and pretty things, because thats all anyone will buy her. She's getting goth dolls for xmas from santa this year! Creepy High or somethign they are called? F princess's it's time for cross bones

Lol, Jet, well I would just do the hospital thing because of all the complications that can happen. Tristan had the umbilical cord around his neck and was facing the wrong way, Sarah's heart stopped, briefly, but plenty long enough to make me worry, and the pain of it, oh my god. With the younger two the epidural worked fine, and after having Tristan, I know how much that can make a difference.

Those dolls sound like something Sarah would love Dia, I might have to look into them. lol

Ive used IE forever until I plugged in this computer, and for some reason ( its probably some setting) it wont load alot of stuff, and drives me nuts. So Ive been using Firefox for the most part now, and IE on the other box.

We changing subject Kel? :lol

OneRepublic is coming to Tacoma in October. The tickets are 88+ and they're just opening for Maroon5 which I'm not a fan of. /sigh

Wow those prices blow! I saw my first concert at the King Dome ( R.I.P )!! I'm seriously talking myself into reactivating my WoW acct....the weekends are too boring for me.
ROzbeans 15 years ago
We saw U2 at the kingdome. And saw the seahawks actually win a game (against the vikings) like back in 96ish. The new fields are super friggin cool. The Mariners have Safeco Field and the Seahawks have Qwest field. Very cool, very new and shiny.

One of my first concerts was Nirvana for 6 bucks a ticket, my best girlfriend, my cousin and I ditched school and jumped on the city bus to get there early ><

LoL Don't feel too bad Fae, I've only ever been to one and that was right outta high school. Motley Crue :D Ratt was supposed to open for them, but they backed out for some reason so ended up being some no name English band (think it was Johnny Crash or some such) and Lita Ford who really wasn't all that LoL Hubby talks about all the concerts he's been to before we got together and makes me jealous too tho ;)

I can proudly say I went to ACDC. Well, not proudly =x

Other than Flight of the Conchords I don't think I've ever felt like I got my monies worth. I've been to some big shows too.
Lessa 15 years ago
We bought tickets to ACDC once, David got in a bad car accident the night before though and we couldn't make it :(
He had to give the tickets to his brother.

They induced her because she has borderline gestational diabetes, she's just eating better to keep it controlled and its all good. They also did it because the baby was already 7 lbs 2 and a half weeks ago at her last ultrasound. We've been in here for 41 hours now, and she's not even dialated to 4. They've used 12 hours of a ripening agent and 5 hours ago put in the balloon catheter, so hopefully that'll fall out soon, meaning she's at 4.

And for the concerts topic, most concerts I've seen have been at our local small venue called the machine shop. Its usually pretty cheap, and its close quarters, and bands love playing at it. I've seen Caroline's spine, Nonpoint twice, Framing hanley twice, Evans Blue, Saliva (great show) twice, HED(pe) and a few more smaller bands there. The shows I'm proud to have seen are the 3 Three Days Grace and Breaking Ben shows, and Music as a Weapon with Disturbed, Stone Sour, and Nonpoint, all at bigger venues. That and Caroline's Spine because it was amazing.

I would absolutely love to see Blue October, the other band I've never seen that I have to see some day, is The Used.
