Say Anything.
'Say Anything' is a John Cusak/Cameron Crowe 1989 teen flick. ' A noble underachiever and a beautiful valedictorian fall in love the summer before she goes off to college.' This is actually not what this thread is about, but the message is the same.
Actually no it isn't, I just like imdb.com and the title sounded interesting. /snort
This is not necessarily a vent thread - far from it. This is about saying anything - weather, the bird outside your work window, the fundamental differences between Mormons and catholics, how Law and Order Criminal Intent doesn't get the props it deserves, that I always forget whether it's 'it's' or 'its', that my daughter has a beautiful smile and the first guy that breaks her heart - I'm breaking his knees...it's about anything.
So, say anything.
I just built a huge loft for my bed so I could have more space underneath. It turned out fantastic
I always wanted a bed like that. I was also always jealous of my brothers getting bunk beds when we were little. I got a canopy bed...didn't ask for a canopy bed, but pretended to like it
Then when my daughter was little I got her one of those beds with a top bunk and a futon below since she had a tv in her room, and had friends over all the time. That was one of the best beds ever, for that time anyway.
I'd go with one of those loft beds even now, if I could sleep on a twin size...but I don't think it would work with a double bed...at least not the way I build things :P
I'll post a picture when I get home.

Get some pictures when your finished also =D
Is the girl underneath optional?
Not for my bed
Damn Tim, thats good work.
Get some pictures when your finished also =D
I live in a tiny apartment while going to school so I'm not going to put much more work into it - it was mostly just functional anyway, and then Krista stained it. I might not add the top posts for a long time.
I should take a picture of the space I have to work with - we have this tiny balcony in front of our door filled with bike parts - so just cutting a sheet of plywood leaves no room to stand and I have to keep turning it - so I can't keep as many tools as I'd like or really set up for fine work.
From the stairs...thats a queen size bed by the way
Main room
Other bit
My bathroom...if we had plumbing to do it, I could put a shower in it easy.

Wow, that's a lot of room! I think it may actually be bigger than my house... lol
btw, were you wearing two different socks?

Quite frequently yes! I am too lazy to try find a matching pair so just try to find two the same colourish haha
Treed Boyfriend
We had the most amusing experience this same day; after they got tired of climbing the trees, I took 'em to the baseball field down the road from the house. They ran around like idiots for a while (f'realz), and got all sweaty... and Justin took his shirt off. The look on my daughter's face... wow. :lol I thought she was going to turn inside out, trying to ogle him without looking directly at him. See, he's a farmer and slings hay bales for part of the year, and does other muscly things for the rest of the year around the farm. He's only 13, but holy crap that boy is CUT. I am terribly impressed with my daughter for landing such a boyfriend on her first try; all this, and he is completely in love with her, too. Brat; I think I'm jealous of my own daughter ;)
