Say Anything.

'Say Anything' is a John Cusak/Cameron Crowe 1989 teen flick. ' A noble underachiever and a beautiful valedictorian fall in love the summer before she goes off to college.' This is actually not what this thread is about, but the message is the same.

Actually no it isn't, I just like imdb.com and the title sounded interesting. /snort

This is not necessarily a vent thread - far from it. This is about saying anything - weather, the bird outside your work window, the fundamental differences between Mormons and catholics, how Law and Order Criminal Intent doesn't get the props it deserves, that I always forget whether it's 'it's' or 'its', that my daughter has a beautiful smile and the first guy that breaks her heart - I'm breaking his knees...it's about anything.

So, say anything.

:omg: I'm soooooooooo glad that I live in Montana now. Average temp for most of the summer here is mid to high 80's, with a few weeks of 90's & that's it. It gets friggen cold here in the winter though. Of course.. it's always easier to add more clothing when it's cold, there's only so much you can (legally) take off when it's hot :duck

ok well i cant figure out how to get that weather sticker thing working so heres a link lol

http://www.weather.com/weather/local/85048?lswe=85048&lwsa=WeatherLocalUndeclared&from=whatwhere

only supposed to be 106 today, the worse is in july/august when it gets up into the hundred-teens and monsoons are coming in every other night. after 115 or so even swimming doesnt cool you off cause the water temperature is too hot.

this is what I get lol, I know I should be able to make it work, but my brain doesnt want to try to figure it out :p

Anything above 105 degrees is miserable.. even in a dry hea.. its too hot for a cool breeze so any wind feels like you have a hair dryer pointed on you.

OMFG... we finally sold our Condo in Denver!!!!!! :bouncy:booze Finally we don't have to pay for a mortgage AND rent up here!! We can finally start saving that money we were spending on our mortgage for a down payment on a house up here. (we sold the condo for less than it was bought for :arg... Damn condo market has been completely over saturated by greedy developers :hothead :shakefist:)

I hated that damn condo with every fiber of my being. The HOA sucked dirty donkey balls:bang, the place just sucked hard. It wasn't kid friendly. This all depends of course on the inspection, but we sunk quite a bit of money making sure that everything was repaired so we really don't see anything going wrong with that. The guy really wants it apparently. His original closing date he wanted to be June 9th, but when he accepted our counter offer, he said he wants to move it up to the 6th!
I'm so relieved to have that thing gone from our lives. :yay

Congrats!

I know how it is paying a mortgage for a house you dont live in.. our old house was broken into prolly 5 times while we tried to sell it ( ghetto practically) and was a huge pita for a year.. not to mention drain on our bank account. It was so good to be rid of it!

Whew, I bet you're relieved. We were so scared our houses wouldn't sell quickly either and the prospect of having a mortgage and possibly rent scared the hell out of us.

I'm so freaking happy, I can't believe it. It's been on the market since Octoberish, with a few bites, but nothing that was really worth taking. In fact, one offer was well below 50k less than the asking price. (WTF) We didn't even bother to reply to that offer it was such an insult. We actually got lucky on the price this guy was willing to pay, another condo in teh same complex that was the same layout as ours sold for about 5k more than ours, but it had granite countertops, & gorgeous hardwood & tile flooring, and alot of other really nice extra's. We basically repainted, replaced the carpet, & repaired the stuff that was broken/needed fixing.

The job my hubby got up here paid enough that we were able to afford our rent & the mortgage by being frugal. We got really lucky with that, as well as the rent prices here are quite a bit more reasonable than they were in Denver.

PS.. I'm so freaking excited, if I wasn't so sick, I'd be bouncing off the walls :teehee

I don't know if its psychological or not - but I think the baby bean is making me fall asleep on my desk at around 3pm every afternoon. O_o

that might be hormonal hehe, rather than psychological :)

This has to be one of the biggest last names I've ever heard:

Pakentregeradamska

It sounded awesome rolling off the woman's tongue in her clipped Russian accent, too *blush*

Holy SHIT no wonder my brother's complaining about not having any hard drive space on his computer...

It's got over 5200 MP3s, totalling more than 24GB of space.

:no There is a big brown spider under a cup in my laundry room and I'm scared. I hate spiders. I think it's a Hobo spider and they are mean and nasty. Some one hold me.

Is it a crime to kill imaginary computer hamsters?

(layman: one of the very important programs on our server keeps dying and preventing people from working)

I think you're ok with killing imaginary things.

Found out a little while ago that one of the main breakers in my house died in a spectacularly stinky spark of death.

And our house is without power.

So I get to go home after work to inspect the damage and either replace a single breaker or an entire breaker box.

"Bleh" just doesn't cover it.
