Say Anything.

'Say Anything' is a John Cusak/Cameron Crowe 1989 teen flick. ' A noble underachiever and a beautiful valedictorian fall in love the summer before she goes off to college.' This is actually not what this thread is about, but the message is the same.

Actually no it isn't, I just like imdb.com and the title sounded interesting. /snort

This is not necessarily a vent thread - far from it. This is about saying anything - weather, the bird outside your work window, the fundamental differences between Mormons and catholics, how Law and Order Criminal Intent doesn't get the props it deserves, that I always forget whether it's 'it's' or 'its', that my daughter has a beautiful smile and the first guy that breaks her heart - I'm breaking his knees...it's about anything.

So, say anything.

haven't had time to play EQ2 all damn week. only have a few hours this morning, before me and the kiddo are out of here to visit friends on the north side of town. and they schedule server updates. on a SATURDAY???? are they outta their freaking minds?? oh wait. talking bout Sony here. nevermind!

My guild's website died on tuesday, got it back up yesterday and it ate all the backups we had since Jan 11, so everything is having to be restored manually from personal files.. and everything we did in the last 6 months.. thats not on someone elses's PC is lost , Bah!

*sigh* Home from vacation...all the play time is gone, and it's back to life as usual. Canada was so cool (literally)...gonna miss it, and my sister.*sigh*

Vacation is so nice. Then you get home and realize you need a vacation from your vacation. ;)

LB, Angel & I went to the NJ Renaissance Kingdom on Sunday, its last day running for the year. It can best be summed up as "small & for young children". But it was nice to put on garb and enjoy a show or meet up with NYRF fellow Friends of Faire members. Next weekend we will hit the Southern CT faire in Ansonia, CT. Hopefully we will get to visit with even more friends from last year!

*grins* Thanks Cali - and I did totally veg out yesterday...didn't even leave the house. Back at work today, and really don't even mind that...yet ;)

So I'm sitting in my office using a printer stand for a desk and my phone is sitting on a chair next to me. We were suppose to pack, move, unpack my office on Friday - they ended up finishing packing on Saturday morning. When we get to my new building, the people we're moving in with left a mess and very little space for all my crap. To top it off, the phone/dsl guys aren't even done wiring our space here and won't finish until sometime today. I'm using a crappy clearwire connection (which is fabulous downtown with all 5 lights lit but only 1 here) and I'm forced to have to work with my ex-assistant who has undoubtedly talked mad shit about me to these other women.

An office full of women. I'm so lucky.

Thankfully I don't have to interact with the other women, other than my normal assistant. We're sister companies but really have nothing to do with each other on a daily basis. They greet the customers, I sit in my office or do sales calls - but gone are the days of napping on my desk and watching dvds. I do have my own office, but I think the woman I kicked out when I asserted my managerial dominance doesn't like me. Like I care, really. I still have the office.

We're suppose to get our office stuff tonight, but after hours. I've accrued some awesome comp time because of this past weekend and off hour work I'm doing. Today will be a 14 hr day which will include a trip to Fred Meyers to buy cleaning supplies to clean the motherfucking snack room kitchen counter. Jesus all women and you'd think it would be cleaner. Nothing in this place is organized, it makes me look like my mother in terms of cleanliness. Again, I still have my office...thank god.

Sometimes women are the most nasty-awful slobs...

The ladies' room in my office stinks so bad you'd almost expect there to be a cloud of flies when you go in.

ROz, I would ask your manager if you can hire a cleaning company if there isnt one already contracted. No employee should be scrubbing unless it is in their job description or they made the mess.

If there is already a cleaning company taking care of the office in general simply add on the counters or whatever is getting so icky because its needed apparently!

When my daughter was about 8, she came home from sleepover at a friends house, and actually thanked me for keeping a clean house! From that day forward I've really tried hard to not let my personal space get out of control, and am baffled by those who do...:P my daughter included - lol. I still have hopes for her though. ;)

I don't think pigs are any one particular sex...they come in both flavors.

They do have a cleaning company do in and do light dusting and the carpets but it's the disorganization that drives me up the fucking wall. There are couriers that come in and out and they leave a packing mess on the floor, that granted does get picked up but later in the evening. The snackroom itself is pretty much 'clean up after yourself' - which apparently these women don't do. I don't know, they don't have an on site manager, they have someone who's at another office that covers all the offices and I've already spoken to her - they have a lot of people out right now and new people in, but they cleaned up yesterday at least.

theyre saying its gonna be 115 today, and plan is to go sit on a grassy field all afternoon while we wait for fireworks.. joy :(

Artemis' post about October being three months away made me realize that in four months time I will be celebrating my daughter's 9th birthday and three weeks after that my other daughter's 6th birthday. *cry*
