Say Anything.

'Say Anything' is a John Cusak/Cameron Crowe 1989 teen flick. ' A noble underachiever and a beautiful valedictorian fall in love the summer before she goes off to college.' This is actually not what this thread is about, but the message is the same.

Actually no it isn't, I just like imdb.com and the title sounded interesting. /snort

This is not necessarily a vent thread - far from it. This is about saying anything - weather, the bird outside your work window, the fundamental differences between Mormons and catholics, how Law and Order Criminal Intent doesn't get the props it deserves, that I always forget whether it's 'it's' or 'its', that my daughter has a beautiful smile and the first guy that breaks her heart - I'm breaking his knees...it's about anything.

So, say anything.

Say anything doesn't apply to bashing, I guess you could say, because there are members on tac that are Mormon. Its just common courtesy.

I think we might actually have a beautiful summer this year in Alaska. Last year was nothing but rain but I've seen the sun more than 4 times so far and that's already more than last summer. =D

I never get tired of reliving those moments when you tell someone with a hundred thousand dollar education, "the other right mouse button."

Thanks to my guild buddies in EQ2 I have been forced to open a Myspace account. Ick. But there is a pic of me up!

In related news, the Dark Elf I started in EQ2 Sunday morning made level 17 last night. I remember it took WEEKS for me to get my first few charries that far!!! Apparantly, I'm starting to figure this game out!

Went to B&N last weekend with my lady, and bought myself two books.

I can't even find one of them now, let alone remember what it was about.

From my second story window I can see the intersection of 7th and E. There's a ton of stuff downtown to do, especially now during the summer - bands at town square, Imaginarium, Opera House dealio...so I see a lot of people crossing our intersection.

Just now I saw about 20 preschoolers, all wearing matching purple shirts, being led across the intersection, all tethered by a long piece of rope LOL. I wish I had my camera, it was the cutest thing seeing them all herded across the street.

Tonight I pick up Angel from the airport. Tomorrow my hubby toddles off to Vienna for a week. Tomorrow night we are having Birthday Dinner for Angel at the in-laws. Monday she starts day camp as a councilor in training. Thursday I have to help organize and run the Career event at our company for College recruiting / career development directors from all over the country. AND go on the god damned lobster bake boat cruise of Long Island Sound. (Gag @ sight of dead whole lobsters.) After that cluster fuck, I have to race home, sleep as much as possible to pick my kiddo up from the inlaws at 6:30am so I can get her to camp by 7 and me to work by 8:30. Where I get to man the "info" booth during the entire event at our HQ.

Make it stop! MAKE IT STOP!

i am too old for this shit.

we went out to celebrte my sister's birthday last night. went to dinner, hit a club to meet up with some friends, then breakfast afterward (at 3am - who the hell can eat at that hour??). at which point, the party moved to our hotel room.

I saw the sunrise this morning - before i found a bed to crash in.

I am too old to go 24 hours without sleep. and I've only had about 3 hours since I got up at 7:30 yesterday. i am so crashing, and crashing hard tonight, lemme tell you.

i would have swore this became a mormon thread... *grin
btw the big difference of the catholic church (being catholic i can tell you) is people *should go to the church every sunday, and in major festivities, such as christmas and some other; there is quite room for dissent, in fact you can think whatever you want. the thing most people dont understand is that the pope and the church give DIRECTIONS of a good catholic behavior, (that's why people say the pope tells the president what to do). in fact i guess they dont give quite a damn what you really do, it's up to you to decide. there's no conviction at all.

apart from this, being this a "say anything" thread, the first thing that came up to my mind was: anything.
the second: the weather terribly sucks here lol

Last year, in Denver, the second week of june, we had over 100* weather (didn't get up past 98 the rest of the summer).... It sucked, cause our AC was broke. And my daughter was barely a month old!

Speaking of my daughter.. I totally forgot just how adorably cure it is when Babies first learn to walk... She took her first steps by herself Last night :yay

only supposed to be 106 today, the worse is in july/august when it gets up into the hundred-teens and monsoons are coming in every other night. after 115 or so even swimming doesnt cool you off cause the water temperature is too hot.

We invited my mother to come out to visit (haven't seen her in probably 5 years *yes I'm terrible*) and now I'm worried about her coming here. She rode my ass about getting fat when I was a kid all the while plying me with candy bars daily and in the last 2 years-ish I've gained about 25 lbs >< I can just hear her bugging me....and that's just the beginning.

Hopefully she will bring her bottle of vicodin and I can at least be stoned most of the time!!! Or maybe she will be stoned most of the time and won't notice how fat I am?!

Oooh my nice new leather couches come today hooray! Sitting on the floor is not fun.
