I'm sure Mike's going to realllly appreciate this. So he and I are officially trying for our kiddo #2. We had unprotected sex last night, which marks the only other time we've EVER had unprotected sex. We grew up freaking out about unplanned pregnancies so we feel good about being able to plan our two. Don't get me wrong, surprises are good too - but I kinda don't like being surprised hehe. Especially since I'm diabetic so I have to come off a lot of medication. So I'm checking my blood pressure everyday and sugar. Anyway - if it's anything like Catherine, I'll be pregnant by next week O_o

They did bump my appointment up, rather they just added an earlier one. 6/21 I'll be seeing one of my many doctors at the clinic for a sit down and an ultrasound! I will fo sho post it when I get it - granted it'll be nothing but a little blinking light and genetic mush, but it'll be our baby! /squee!

HAHA yeah when I had catherine, just about everyone on that floor had seen my breasts. I had one male nurse come in, he was really nice, and had the courtesy to back out when he saw I was breast feeding Catherine. I said, 'It's not like you and everyone else haven't seen my boobs, come on in!'
They took more blood today - they're checking some blood antibodies, and I have my ultrasound on Thursday =)

Congrats, Roz. Yeah, being diabetic and pregnant is going to be a pain--my sister is diabetic and had two kids of her own, and she nearly drove her doctor CRAZY! I'm diabetic myself, but at least all I have to worry about is, well, not being able to get a girl pregnant.

First appt -
Couldn't find the baby during the ultrasound. My doctor said, 'Don't worry' about 20 times so of course I'm a little nervous. They took more blood today and will again on Monday (i'm a god durn pin cushion) and I'll have another ultrasound on Wednesday. Hopefully I'll have a little picture to post then, however I am now on a first name basis with my ovaries after having seen both at every possible angle.

I hope everything is okay Roz. Had my own scare like that earlier this month. I had been sick and they couldn't find the heartbeat with the doppler - FIVE times. I was freaking out. Thankfully all turned out well, so I hope the same for you.

I'm trying not to worry - but I think I'm not as far along as I thought I was, which would explain not being able to see the baby. We'll see next week.

My first ultrasound with Kate, my doctor couldn't find her either. I had to wait a few days and go back, and then she used a vaginal ultrasound. That was so not fun.

I just remember having to drink about 1-2 liters of water or something rediculous ( im a fairly small person) , so that it was easier to find, even then I dont think I ever went in this early for an ultrasound. After drinking that much water, I had to pee so bad..and they tell me I can only pee this much..lol.

They told me to empty my bladder before I had it - which probably was a good thing because this was a vaginal ultrasound too and he was hammering on my bladder like you would not believe =x

*nods* I know they know that the cervix bruises, so why to they mash on it so hard, stupid doctors. *snerk*
