Don't stop arting because of another person. We do art because it makes us happy and expresses feelings, not because of competition or a desire to show others up. If you stop doing art in the face of bitterness or other negativity then you have let yourself down hun.

I have always enjoyed the things you created, please reconsider and if need be take some time off but don't shut the door. And definitely don't stop hanging out here :)

I do art for my own happiness like exchanges and random fantasy pictures which most I don't ever post on DA or here or my website. ;) But my EQ art (magelo and sigs) is my source of income to afford to play because unlike some I dont have 5 sugar daddies paying for my stuff. ROFL

I guess I could take up the one persons offer about a calendar. Got another email today saying he'd cover financial stuff if I make a 16 month calendar to sell in stores. :grin And don't worry, I'd never stop hanging out at TAC! One of these days I will be able to afford Vex and her leet html skills for a website!

I'm surprised if people are taking this other person's art, because yours is WAY better. Maybe she's just hooker cheap, who knows. Don't lower your prices just because people will take cheap art instead of quality. :thumbsup

She is poaching your clients? Well that is pretty low. I don't charge anything for the pictures I make, but I only make them for people I actually played eq with and have some history with. I get the very occasional request from random people and have been paid real money twice, given gift certs at dA and rendo twice and some game currency twice. But I don't post on other guild's message boards trolling for customers and am usually too pressed for time to keep up with the stuff I have on my list as it is.

I am sorry you are feeling so put upon, but you should keep your website up and your gallery open.... your work and skills are something to be proud of, not bartered away because someone is bossier or louder than you. That is letting the bully win all over again.... we don't let our kids put up with it, neither should we as adults put up with it.

Hold your head up and be proud of the work you do, know that the price you charge for your time is decent and proper and the respect you have gained from your peers is valuable. To back down and give up your gallery and public art is beneath you and you are better than this.

I would make a comment, but I am a lady to some aspect and so won't say it. HAhahaha =X

And since I'm having a rant moment... here's another.... I mean seriously.. who the hell uses the same 3 default lights on EVERY picture? LOL

I still have my art on DA so folks can still see it there. As for my website.. blah. Not like I can't ever redo it. If I ever feel like putting the gallery back up, it's just a simple matter of copy & paste html back in.

Don't give up art hun. I get mad sometimes and art is my outlet. I often do art that I never show to anyone.

As for friends...well I'll confess to all but giving up there lol. But keep up the art :) I hear Rasper speaks very highly of you :D

Rasper is an awesome guy. Honestly, I'm still surpised I was able to pull off a bloodmoon orc picture. LOL

Finally got the kids school pictures so I thought I would share. Kami's hair looks like crap, no one in this town can cut cute short hair for girls apparently because I took her to 2 places to try and make her hair not look like crap.

AWright, now I'm totally curious, WHO is treating you so badly? And calling your artwork bad? Ridiculous... *fumes*
